Instagram: sara_jaouhariaayash Ohannes is an authentic Lebanese/Armenian restaurant that has 3 branches in Lebanon (Batroun, Jounieh & Baouchrie). We had lunch at their Jounieh branch. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation & wonderful dessert. The food was exceptional! Very tasty & well prepared & you can chose among many menu options. Most of their plates are neither seen nor tasted at other restaurants, & our favorites were MANTI, EGGPLANT ROLLS, CHEESE BEUREG & FRIED FROGS. I loved the service at the place and the chef was so friendly & welcoming with the guests! I highly recommend this place & would like to go back...

Impressive decor and very nice ambiance. The lights, the music, the colours and everyhthing in this restaurant gives colorful vibes. Even though it is on the street, you feel disconneted once you are inside especially at night (the green plants and lights on the windows play such an isolant from the outside). The dishes are good but not so special. The mixed grill come without any sauce, we expected the Dochka to be a little bit spicy as it is described in arabic but it wasn’t, however, it was tasty. Honestly best food I have tasted during my stay in Beirut!! Adding to that, the very polite staff and the place it’s really clean!! Don’t worry order anything from the menu, even if you haven’t tried it before, because for sure it will taste amazing!!! And don’t worry about portion wise, their portions are pretty big compared to many other restaurants. While our visit the owner passed by, he came to our table to welcome us in his restaurant.
