Unfortunately, my overall impression was marred by several instances of unprofessional behavior from the staff.
Upon entering the restaurant with my companion, we were greeted by a waiter who promptly inquired about the number of guests in our party. Following this standard exchange, I overheard the manager instructing the waiter to ascertain whether we were there for lunch. To my dismay, the manager then remarked, seemingly in jest, that we did not "look like" we were in need of a meal based on our appearance. This inappropriate comment not only took me aback but also left me feeling disrespected as a customer.
Feeling offended by the manager's remark, I engaged in a brief confrontation with him before ultimately deciding to leave the premises. The encounter left me with a negative impression of the restaurant and a reluctance to return in the future.
It is evident that the professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by the staff at Sanferien fell short of expectations during my visit. To remedy this issue and improve the overall customer experience, I recommend implementing comprehensive training programs for all staff members, with a focus on fostering respect, empathy, and effective communication skills. Additionally, management should enforce a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory or disrespectful behavior towards patrons.
While SANFERIEN may boast an appealing menu and inviting ambiance, the quality of customer service ultimately defines the dining experience. Addressing the issues of unprofessionalism and rudeness among staff members is essential for maintaining the restaurant's reputation and fostering positive...

Read moreWe recently visited Sanferian hoping for a relaxing evening of drinks, Shisha and desserts. Unfortunately, instead of unwinding, our experience was marred by the unwelcoming attitude we received from the staff. Upon informing our waiter that we planned to order just drinks, desserts and Shisha (which ended up being terrible by the way) for the evening, we were met with a condescending response, being told that our choice was ‘not acceptable’ and that we should order dinner instead. This interaction was not only surprising but also made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. While we understand the importance of meal orders for a restaurant’s service flow, we believe that communication about such policies should be handled in a respectful and understanding manner. It’s disappointing that our casual visit turned into an unpleasant experience, and we hope that the restaurant will consider training their staff in better customer service to avoid such incidents in the future. Till then, we are definitely not visiting this...
