400 Degrees, Restaurant — Restaurant in Kaunas

Had a vegan pizza and fries delivered. The delivery was late by around half an hour, but I was contacted by a staff member regarding that, and I was in no rush, so all good. However, just as anticipated, the food was lukewarm. The fries were soggy, which I found really disappointing. Since I was informed about late delivery, the least I expected was for the fries to be cooked right before they went out for delivery, but it seems like they were cooked and left there for a while. Pizza was naturally lukewarm too. Really loved the base, just as good as that at Jurgis and Drakonas, which is my favourite pizzeria in Kaunas. Bell pepper and mushroom cooked well, however red onion was a bit undercooked. Perhaps the second most disappointing thing after the temperature was the amount of cheese - I opted for the vegan version of it and they were really stingy with it. As can be seen in the photo, I was presented with a handful of small yellow squares. I understand vegan cheese is more pricy than the regular one, however, your vegan customers would probably rather pay a little extra and have you give them a decent amount of it and have it properly grated. Overall, will not order for a delivery again, but if I happen to be hungry while in Šilainiai, would still stop by for a fresh and warm pizza. In downtown Kaunas, however, I'd still go for other spots.

Užsisakiau vegetarišką picą su veganišku sūriu ir gruzdintas bulvytes pristatymui. Užsakymas vėlavo apie pusvalandį, tačiau su manim dėl to buvo susisiekta ir, kadangi neskubėjau, tai nebuvo minusas. Deja, kaip ir nerimavau, maistas atkeliavo praktiškai šaltas. Labiausiai nuliūdino bulvytės - jei gruzdintos, neturėtų būti minkštos ir lyg "sumirkusios". Kadangi žinojau, kad maistas vėluos, tikėjausi, kad bulvytės bus šviežiai iškeptos tik prieš joms iškeliaujant, bet panašu, kad buvo iškeptos ir paliktos stovėti gana ilgam. Pica, kaip minėta, buvo vėsi. Padas labai puikus ir skanus - kokybe prilygsta mano mėgiamiausiai picerijai - Jurgiui ir Drakonui. Paprika ir grybai iškepti skaniai, tačiau svogūnai šiek tiek "žali". Labai nuliūdino veganiškas sūris. Labai skanus, tačiau akivaizdžiai jo pagailėta, pamėtyti keli kvadratukais papjaustyti geltoni gabalėliai, kaip matosi nuotraukoje. Suprantu, kad veganiškas sūris brangesnis, nei paprastas, tačiau manau, kad veganai klientai mieliau šiek tiek primokėtų ir gautų normalų sūrio kiekį. Apibendrinant - pristatymui daugiau neužsisakysiu. Mano manymu, jei vėluojat, pagaminkit viską prieš išvežimą, kad atkeliautų šilta. Jei alkana sukiosiuosi Šilainiuose, greičiausiai užsuksiu šiltos picos, nes tikrai labai skanus padas ir daržovės, tačiau naujai atsidariusioje picerijoje centre greičiausiai...

I visited this restaurant yesterday evening but was not impressed. We ordered 4 different pizzas. Mine was called Rose or as everywhere it would be called Hawayan. I liked chicken and pineapple, mozzarella and tomatoes but didn't like pizza bread itself. It was not baked properly. What I was surprised that this pizza was chilly hot. My grandson did not eat his Capriciosa pizza because there weren't any additional souce like ketchup at all. The waitress explained us that this restaurant sells real Italian pizza. We liked soup and grilled chicken. The beverage was the same as everywhere. We weren't able to get Lithuanian gira but espresso coffee was definitely of a good blend. The staff was polite, friendly and knew the menu well. The whole atmosphere is inviting to come back but these pizzas...

As a regular customer at Kursiu g. I had a chance to visit a newly opened 400 laipsnių restaurant in Laisvės alėja earlier. I was surprised in a few first seconds that the waiter only cleaned half a table after the last customers left. Once received the menus, I asked for a beer and she only said that they don't serve that particular kind of beer and disappear. It was a few unmatched of what we actually order and received but the highlight of the visit was when received the receipt and checked that the wine price was 8 eur instead of 3,2 eur which was on the menu. I asked what happened there and the answer was that the prices on the menu are incorrect. I am sorry, but that's not how it works these days. Did not hear a single sorry for a waiter during...
