Overpriced for very meh tasting food, extremely rude and arrogant service. Do yourself a favour and walk a few meters to “Marina” nearby, with fabulous food and very pleasant staff for the same price.

We were seated by the staff at a table that had some remnants of flour-looking dust and several stains. When politely asked the waitress to clean the table, she made a point of cleaning a bit more than half of the small table we were seated at.

Utensils were a bit dusty, I had to clean them with a tissue myself. Beetroot and beef soup was bland and watery, the beef bits were very dry and taugh, almost impossible to chew. The pork skewer was well cooked with a nice crispy texture but bland tasting, crispy thyme potato wedges had nice texture but didn’t have even a hint of thyme. Smoked beetroot didn’t taste smoked at all, rather boiled and maybe fried a little bit. During our meal the waitress was chatting with the bar attendant at the bar, whispering and laughing at our table’s direction.

The waitress came and asked if we enjoyed our food. After politely telling her that it was, well, rather average, she loudly laughed in our faces, turned on her heel and arrogantly walked away, without asking any further questions. She continued whispering and laughing with the bar attender at our table’s direction. We couldn’t wait to leave and to never ever come back after finally managing to get the chance to ask...

We came in on Sunday and had a table for 14 people booked in advance. The place was half booked but nevertheless wait time was unacceptable. Waiter took our order in 15 minutes and then the fun began. We waited for 1 hour to get our drinks which by the way were sitting on a bar prepared for at least 30 min. 30 min later our appetizers came in. By this time we already were sitting for more than 2 hours with one round of drinks and 3 platters of snacks. Guess what - it took us another 1 hour to get our main dishes. All waiters were running like crazy and I believe it was not their fault at all. Owners of the place are the ones to blame as kitchen was extremely understaffed. Saying this because our waiter had to go to the kitchen to prepare snacks for us himself. A perfect location especially for a nice summer day. Unfortunately not ready to host hungry...

This local is surrounded by forest, it's a very magical place to take a walk in Kaunas. We come around here often but only today, 5th January, we entered in this local for the first time. The inside is nice, comfortable, even tho it does not really match with the natural beauty of the outside. Menù is quite wide. I took a burger and my gf took chicken skewer. I can tell the quality of the food is not the best and the price is very high, almost 15€ for a very small burger, it seemed like I paid for the french fries. Waitress was gentle and on point. In general, I would say one time is enough, I do not have the desire to come back a second time for this local, while the place around really...
