Pizza Verde — Restaurant in Vilnius

I don't know what kind of italian pizza is because I've never tasted it. But this place got me off guard.

I've been eating pizzas in a lot of places and every time I felt it was missing something. And at this place I was amazed how everything was superior from service to pizzas.

I've got home made lemonade and Pancetta pizza. Lemonade was refreshing, not too sugary, had a little bit of lemon bitterness. It was right in the middle of perfection.

And now for the main thing - pizza. It was hot straight out of the fireplace. I first tried a little bit of crust. It was crunchy, soft, melted in my mouth. After a while, I tried to eat a piece with spicy olive oil. And I was shocked. I can't describe how tasty it was. The pancetta was soft and crunchy, salty, oily, but matched perfectly with tomatoes, ricotta was moist and mozarella as always - perfection. All these ingredients made me speechless.

Customer service was nice, always asking if I needed something. Pizza was made very fast. I was eating on saturday at mid day.

I was introduced to this pizzeria by my father-in-law and... I absolutely love him because it is by far the best Neapolitan-style pizza in Vilnius! Location-wise isn't ideal or somewhere glamorous but what matters at the end of the day is the taste.... And Pizza Verde is simply amazing. Fresh, authentic ingredients, pizzas cooked to perfection and prices are very reasonable. Upon ordering, the pizzas were ready in just a few minutes. While the pizzas were nice, the customer service was abyssmal. We and at least 3 other tables were waiting for a waiter to come to us, while a waitress sat at the bar checking facebook. I dont think she was on a break as she would get up every 10mins to serve one table and get back to the bar. After the meal, my wife asked for the check and the waiter mumbled something . After waiting for 15 more minutes I went to ask for the check and the waiter told me to wait at the table. I was literally standing next to the waitress on facebook and still had to wait.

TL;DR pizzas are nice, customer service not....
