The terrace is lovely and the restaurant is situated in a park with a playground nearby. The food was good but not exceptional so I do not feel like the prices are justified.
Unfortunately the service by both waitresses was abhorrent. One server started by giving us unwanted advice where everyone should sit: âChoose the terrace so you can let the kids run aroundâ or âoh no you should put the baby here and you sit over thereâ âŠEhm⊠thanks for your input?! The food took about 40min to arrive. As you can imagine our kids were famished and ate mostly bread đ when we asked for mayonnaise and ketchup, it arrived just when we had finished eating.
While making the reservation they assured me they would add a baby chair. However when we arrived there were no chairs for kids except for an unsafe contraption where the baby falls over if it pushes too hard.
Although the baby made a little noise (shit happens itâs a baby), we got it under control quickly and we didnât let the three year olds run around or disturb the other patrons. At other restaurants we never had any complaints or negative vibes from the waiters or guests. Until we came to Lentze Parc. As a family we felt unwelcome and unwanted by the staff which is a lovely feeling when you pay the 200⏠bill at the end⊠So thanks but we will not return to your establishment. Which is very sad because we loved the male waiter who was very friendly and we really enjoyed...
Read moreLiving in Luxembourg for almost 20 years and having tried numerous Restaurants in Luxembourg, we had a Terrible and unacceptable experience. Referred as good for kids but nothing good be further from the truth. Nothing to draw, hamburger for kids on the menu on line but on site not available. Service was poor- it took more than 20 minutes for the order to be taken and 1h20 to be served food. Kids were starving and it was then very difficult to keep them busy. We even had to ask for bread after one hour to give to the kids who could not stay in place anymore. Food was good ( albeit we asked for a meat cooked at point and it was bloody) but the experience was totally destroyed by the lack of services. Servers were overwhelmed and stressed as not enough personal (not smiling and tensed when we asked to order - except for a young man who was doing his best). So definitively not with children and I would not go back with adults only following this experience as there many other nice places to eat...
Read moreThis restaurant offers really tasty and authentic luxembourgish cuisine and uses a lot of fresh and local luxembourgish products.
Even if it is a more high-end and elegant restaurant, the prices are very ok. The restaurant has not the biggest menu, and it is very possible that one or more items are not available at the time, which in my opinion is perfectly ok. It has also vegetarian options.
I had "moules au vin blanc" (mussels with white wine), which is a very popular dish during fall, and they were really delicious. I would definitely take them again and can 100% recommend them. Another dish i took a photo of was a vegetarian mushroom dish, which was also very delicious.
The only possible criticism is that dishes varied in size, and some are a bit small...
