Nonna Nenetta 2.0 — Restaurant in Sanem

During my recent visit to the restaurant Nonna Nenetta 2.0 in Belval, I had mixed impressions. First of all, the ambiance of the place is pleasant, with decor that evokes Italy. However, the manager's welcome was not up to my expectations. I felt a certain coldness, and he clearly indicated that we needed to leave our table at some point to make way for other customers. This somewhat spoiled the experience, as I like to take my time to savor my meal.

Regarding the service, I must say that our server was a positive point. He was smiling, attentive, and very active, which added a touch of friendliness to our meal.

Now, let's talk about the food. I had heard a lot of good things about the pizzas, which seem to be their specialty. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try them this time. Instead, I opted for the filet mignon, which, at 32 euros, turned out to be disappointing. The meat lacked flavor and was far from tender. Additionally, the accompanying vegetable was bland, which did not help elevate the dish. Because of this experience, I didn't even feel tempted to order dessert, which is usually a highlight for me.

In summary, my first experience at Nonna Nenetta 2.0 was a mixed bag. While the service was pleasant, the quality of the food, particularly the meat dish, did not meet my expectations. Hello and thank you for the feedback. But I suppose a customer's feedback is a free service to help you improve in certain areas and in this case the food and wait time between order and when meals are ready (I had to wait over 30 minutes for my pasta). Luxembourg is an international country with a lot of foreign nationals...at least make an effort to translate your menu or have proper translators. I am pretty sure I asked about the quality of the 'meat' in question more than once...and while you had exchanged the same meal for another customer (in my presence), you didn't offer any sympathy to me (even though I had to order a second meal and left the first one untouched). Rather you had packed it for me to take where? There are several restaurants around Belval and even if I may not have liked my choice of menu on a rare occasion, I had given a very good rating because they mostly had an excellent attitude (a show of understanding) and great service too. 1st of all, they forgot part of the drinks order, we had to order again. Second of all, they did not speak English, we had to ask a guy who was not our waiter to take our order but his English was also limited. Even though this is Esch, not Luxembourg, at least some English is mandatory. Third of all, they mixed our food. I got my order delayed with 10 minutes than my wife. Lastly, the food was okay, but as a pasta it gets boring quickly so you need to add something extra at it to make it less boring and dry.
