BIVIUS Restaurant Hotel*** WineShop — Restaurant in Strassen

Context🥂: a big group of 15-20 people who had a nice evening out, in a friendly 💕and cosy atmosphere✨️ at Bivius Restaurant. Because we were a big group and the weather allowed it, we stayed on the terrace.🥰

Location📍: in Strassen, close to the highway, and very easy to spot it from the street (Route D'Arlon). Even so, I was not bothered by the engine noise, or other noises coming from the street.👏

Personnel 🧑‍🍳: kind and respectful, with a very discrete presence. I didn't feel that we were ignored at all.

Service 🛎: prompt and fast. Nothing to complain about.👏👍They served first the drinks🍷🍹🍺🥂, then a starter (pizza Marguerita for the whole group), and then the main dish.

Food 🍽: I loved the Marguerita 🍕 that is really light and easy to digest. My dish was salmon with sauce hollandaise. The sauce really conquered me😍👏. I have opted for a salad instead of potatoes as side, and they served it according to my demands👍✨️. I haven't heard complains about the food, no matter what it was: pasta🍝, pizza🍕, main dish with meat🥩. So I think that we were all happy😊. Some of them ordered also desert🍮. I have tried them, but they were a little bit too sweet for my taste (tiramisu), and the quality of the icecream (the boule) was a little bit low.

Overall, the experience was good, the prices are reasonable for Luxembourg (the same like in other similar places)💶. The food was good 👏👍, not necessarily outstanding, and I would really love to come back for pizza or...

We spent one night here because it was the one of the most affordable places we could find near Luxenberg city. The room was super hot and there was no air conditioning but the beds were comfortable and so are the pillows. We had the window open and put on the bathroom fan to try and bring in some cool outside air (in the evening) but unfortunately the bathroom fan didn’t seem to really do anything. We held a tissue up to it and it wasn’t even able to draw in a tissue so it kinda wasn’t sucking, just making noise. With the window open we eventually managed to get the room a couple of degrees cooler so we could sleep. Breakfast the next morning was included at the rate we paid.
