Kluang Station Lotus's Ampang — Restaurant in Ampang Jaya Municipal Council

It was pretty much self-service for me and my mother despite the place being relatively empty. Considering there were not many people, the food could have come a little faster. Mother's laksa was disappointingly lacking in ingredients and flavour. Barely any fish meat or condiments that usually go with laksa. Way too much raw onions too, and not a single pineapple. Overall the taste was a 5/10 because she has tasted better laksa elsewhere. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara and it was quite decent actually, but just like my mother I've had better carbonara elsewhere. There wasn't much meat or mushroom as I had hoped for but then again what do you expect from a restaurant like this am I right. Overall I give it a 6/10. Environment was not very welcoming and there were flies so hygiene was at an all-time low. Lastly, price was okay but considering our overall experience, it was way too overpriced and service could have been better. The restaurant is located at one of the entrances of Lotus Ampang. The restaurant is empty, people rarely go there and it’s not surprising. We decided give a try to the restaurant for the first time in 6 years of visiting Lotus Ampang.

1. Food does not match the price. In this place price ≠ taste and quality. This is a local restaurant and it feels like a beginner cooking. Many bones in chicken, vegetables in kids meal tastes old and not juicy, sambal has weird taste
2. Plates oily under. Unpleasant to touch
3. The drinks are overpriced. In a glass is 20% of drink and 80% of ice

All the food was good and delicious.. But sadly the waiter service is so bad... Not all.. But just a one person and I believe maybe she is the spervisor or so on.. My mom and I go in (after check in mysejahtera) to look for a table caused outside already full...
