Visited this eatery on a Sunday for lunch as I was hunting for nasi kerabu. This is a typical Kelantanese restaurant, run by 6 Meks. The lady boss originate from Pasir Mas. I love their nasi kerabu, the daging was a tat tough n not so tasty. The fried chicken was good. They also serve various gulai n also ah koh, Kueh Kueh. Met a guy there Nik who said he was their marketing manager. Nik was very helpful n introduce n explained a number of dishes n how they are cooked. Read morebeen watching this place for the long queue for tapau and eat in....it was longgg!! finally tried it today and glad that it didnt disappoint. i guess the signature dish is nasi kerabu and nasi dagang (although there are other dishes too) there is limited tables of u choose to dine in.. patrons come to tapau by the loads...... there are various lauk to choose from.... from ayam & daging bakar, ikan sardin & keli goreng.... various choices for yhe varying taste pallette... words dont do much justice... you have to try...
Read moreI didnt try their nasi kerabu. I ordered daging kunyit and kuah gulai which was average. Nasi putih was a lil bit mushy to a kelantanese tongue. Since their niche is nasi kerabu, i cannot vouch since i didnt try. However, owner need to pay attention on the cleanliness. I am not very particular about that but it was so obvious. You can obviously see the stains from spill in the fridge which was left a few days and they do not really sweep away food leftover...
