Ordered at 8.58pm through McD’s delivery app. Says delivery in 30 mins. Close to 10pm and still no food. I was patient considering it was drizzling. Then received a notification saying my food was delivered when it wasnt. Received a phone call from this outlet and the guy asked if I’d received my food. I said no. Received another call from the driver and he said he already delivered. Obviously he sent to the wrong house and he asked me “nak buat camna?” Said he would call the outlet. Nothing happened so i called this outlet after 10 mins. The guy at the outlet said he would call the driver and check. Then he called me again and said the driver would be sending me the order soon. Another 30 mins went by and still nothing. 10.40 pm another call from the outlet saying the order was on the way so please wait outside my house in 5 mins. So I asked, tadi kata dah on the way. He said they had to do new orders. Food came at 11pm. Outlet Manager, after an hour, you should ask me if I wished to cancel and want a refund. Instead, each phone call was just rushed through because you did not want to listen and just wanted to end the call. Next time just call your customer and offer cancellation option instead of promising that the delivery is on the way when it’s not. Read moreI recently visited McDonald’s and ordered the Double Sweet Chilli Fish Burger through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, what I received was thoroughly disappointing.
Let me break it down:
Presentation and Quality: Upon opening the packaging, I was shocked. The burger was a mess—ingredients were scattered everywhere, and one of the fish patties was visibly burnt. It looked like it had been carelessly thrown together, completely ruining the eating experience before I even took a bite.
Condition of Ingredients: The lettuce and sauce were mostly stuck to the wrapper instead of in the bun, and the burnt patty only added to the disaster. It was not only unappetizing to look at but tasted off, making it really unpleasant overall.
Expectation vs. Reality: McDonald's usually has a reputation for consistency, but this was a massive letdown. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and attention to detail, but what I got felt like an afterthought.

This means that the meal has been cooked and left out on the carousel for a certain time. Both the nuggets and fries were unappetising. About the Coke, it tasted like 90% aspartame! But we didn’t order Diet Coke. Had we not be in a hurry, we would have returned the sorry state of a meal in exchange for fresh ones. We have encountered being served cold meals many times now in other outlets and often returned them for fresh hot meals. Customers should always assert your rights to exchange any below-par meals.
