Five Grains Noodles 五谷渔粉 Batu Kawan — Restaurant in Batu Kawan Island

Came here on a random night. Place does not have 4G. So they kindly provided wifi for you to be able to view the menu and order food. Wifi does not have password. So may connect instantly.

Ordered food and the food portion is above average in size. Taste is OK but the soup hotness is not there.

The reason for me to rate this place at 3stars is due to the waitress (lady), not being professional.

There is a foreigner(chinese) guy in working attire. Came and ordered a bowl of noodle. So, he did mentioned that the food is too spicy. The waitress however, sort of confronted him and said the spicy level is standard cause he did ordered the spicy one.

However, us as other customers in the restaurant are able to overheard clearly, that she started gossiping to the other waiter that the customer said the noodles he ordered were spicy and make it into a joke with her colleagues.

This is so unprofessional. Mind you, this has been ongoing for few mins. Not just say it once and let it go that kind.

Would give an overall of 3 stars with reasons: 1.long waiting time due to insufficient manpower (2 chefs and 2 service crew) 2.lunch time (peak hour) was packed and so the delayed of food served 3.food was good 4.limited seating of table (could fit at most min 20 to 30max) 5.would return but not at peak hour.

Talked to the crew, they said will improve by this month as it was just opened.

The Food here is very well priced, it's a quiet shop as well for those introvert eaters. The Food is also really well cooked. The portion is also very well done for average eaters that don't need to eat too full for their dinner meals.

The service is good, not the best not the worst, just 4.5/5 kinda good.
