The food and service in this place, they can get better with just a small change, a little thing. But oh, the special thing here is their Sarawak homemade noodles, really different and good. And then, the design and renovation, wow, it really surprised me! I've been to many places before, but this one, it's the most comfortable, I tell you. There's something special about it, especially when it's busy, you know, peak hours. There's no echoing sound at all. It's because they did something clever with the ceiling, put some sound absorbing stuff up there. It's a smart move, really makes a difference.
You know, when you go to a lot of different places, you start to notice these little things. Here, it's like they thought about everything. Even when it's full of people, you can still hear your own thoughts, no noisy echoes bouncing around. It's nice, makes you want to stay longer, enjoy your meal in peace.
And those noodles, I can't stop thinking about them. They're not like the usual stuff you find everywhere else. They've got this homemade touch, feels authentic, tastes like Sarawak. It's a rare find in places like this.
So yeah, with a bit more push on the food and service, this place will be top-notch. Just a few tweaks here and there, and it'll be perfect. Keep doing what you're doing with the design and those noodles. It's really on the...

I didn't wait long for my food and the drinks arrived pretty fast. Drinks were not bad. I enjoyed the three musketeers. Nicely mixed with delicious salty soury taste.
I do have issue with the amount of salt they lathered onto the food though. Even though I loved the traditional dry sarawak noodle which I recommend wholeheartedly, the rest were pretty suboptimal. The sarawak noodle was superbly flavoured, just enough oil and tastefully spiced. The narrow noodles were amazing and optimally cooked.
However the pan mee was ridiculously salty. I couldn't make myself finish it. I guess if you really want to try it, I would advise have a taste of the gravy before you mix it, remove a third of the gravy and only mix the remaining gravy. It should then be edible. The soup wasn't any better too. Good flavors but again oversalted. Not as bad as the pan mee. Edible but I don't think it's healthy. Ditto for the accompanying soup with meat ball. Excessively salty.
However, parking is easy and place is brightly lit. I wouldn't mind coming again for the sarawak noodle and hopefully try their reduced salt...
Read moreQuite a nice shop in the Batu kawan area. The location is just nice in the middle of the business center. The shop corridor has a table and chairs where you can chill out for dinner during evening time, not bad. Service is quite responsive, and fast delivery. Talking about the food taste, I ordered a Sarawak kolo mee and Sarawak laksa. My first impression was that the taste was unique, the first time I ever tasted for kolo mee vs outside is a little bit different. The laksa taste of laksa was special, not the local laksa + curry taste, ingredients were so little bit only, disappointed. If you ask me if it's nice or not, I would say it's not my favorite, the noodles plus the dry chilly were added marks, however the dry chilly also soso only. Overall if you want to try a new thing, this is not a bad choice. The taste was very dependable, the price was acceptable...
