Came here to enjoy Sunday tea but it was unpleasant visit. The foods were pricey and tbh not worth the price, foods wasn't up to my expectations. The hainanese kopi was really disappointing, I had high expectation towards the kopi cos the name was "Kopiboy". The onsen sandwich was just so-so just a lil bit more black pepper will do the magic. And about the tonkatsu rice, the rice was abit too soft and only serve with one slice of tamago and soy sauce on the side. Then we found a hair underneath the pork chop in between the rice and cabbage salad, so we returned it to a lady at the counter but she say nothing and doesn't seems to feel sorry for the carelessness and not to mention the bad service, when we order it almost feel like we owed her that we had to dine in, no greeting and only asked "anything else?" for couple of times and we weren't being indecisive at all to pick out the food. Ok so continue to the rice with the hair, they replace with the new whole set and there was a guy sending the food also showing 0 warmness and nothing to be mention for the mistake they made. It made me wonder if the workers are tired of this business and hate when we customer...

To my disappointment Kopi boy only looks aesthetically pleasing. To think for the price that we are paying for the food, we'd get something out of the ordinary....But to our let down, food and coffee was below average / subpart.

Service was also poor as our order took awhile to come out and to add to that, they also forgot one of our orders (chicken tonkatsu sandwich). When asked about that order, the cashier girl got annoyed and gave me a "face" before looking into it. So to top it all off, it took them a good 45mins to get our order complete... And mind you, it was not pack at all.

To be honest RM70++ (breakfast for 2) is a wee bit too expensive for me for this type of mediocre and small portion meal. Pricey would be an understatement to describe it... Lesson learnt from this visit, don't think will come again tbh....

But if you're into those "Instagramable" eateries, this might be the place for you, other than that... Nothing to shout about and can get "rational priced"...

Used to visit here more often during precovid. Food was okay, but really nothing truly stand out. Remembered they served rice bowl / tonkatsu previous, the rice was super dry, not to my liking. Price is on a pricier side. Malas to go there as difficult to get parking. Also worry that I got stucked in jam during school pick up time.

Been there again just recently, for a cup of coffee. The person who took our order (a lady, lao ban niang maybe? 🤷🏻‍♀️) probably woke up at the wrong side of the bed. No eye contact, no smile, no nothing, not welcoming at all, imo. It's a cosy cafe located in a neighbourhood area lei. Smile abit la. It wasn't a busy day. But my coffee took awhiiiiiiile to serve, I think 15 - 20 mins? 🤔 It was served together with another table who came much latter than us 🙄 when the coffee was served, at least apologised la for the loooong wait. But nope, no nothing. Perhaps 20mins waiting time for a coffee is standard...

3.5 ⭐ I've been meaning to try out this cafe for a while and finally found some time to place an order. I tried the egg sandwich and pork katsu with some hot matcha latte. My verdict : Presentation wise the egg sandwich looked great and the pork sandwich looked underwhelming with the thin slice of pork. That being said, the egg sandwich tasted plain. There was no real flavour to it where as the pork sandwich was delicious! A wee bit too much of sauce though but still delicious. The matcha latte was fine. It didn't have any sugar which is alright but the optional sugar packets should have been offered in the take away bag. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I might just order again.
