First time eating here and I did not have the best experience. I was hungry after a workout session at a nearby gym. So i went here because i heard good things about this place. It was 6pm so I ordered Ayam Geprek for dinner. It was delicious and the sambal is spicy just the way i like it. Then halfway through, i noticed that the banana leaf they used to serve the food on top have big 'taik cicak' on them. Easy to say i was immediately turned off and wanted to asked for a return. However, I have to wait 10 minutes for somebody to come out the kitchen because no one was standing by the counter. When i finally complained, I was only compensated with 2 pieces of fried chicken. No sauce, no rice. Just plain ol' chicken. I just asked for takeaway because I'm in no mood to eat there anymore. Overall SOP needs more improvising especially the cleanliness of food and tableware. Staff also needs to be more present instead of hiding inside the kitchen. What a waste of potential. I won't be...

went there on weekend around 4-5pm. not a lot of people so easy to find vacant table. the restaurant is a bit 'open' so it can get hot some time. however, it is also windy so you wouldn't really feel the heat unless you sit near the open areas.

as for food, you can easily check the menu they have written on the blackboard that was placed outside the restaurant. as for that, one minus star because they didn't have lots of dishes prepared, but choice of drinks are pretty wide.

to order, you have to go straight to the counter and order there. only then you can proceed with payment. they prepared a jar of tip right beside it.

the service was pretty fast, we got it in less than 15 minutes. they also prepared a sink and toilet near the cashier counter, so it wouldn't be a problem if you choose to eat with hands instead of using utensils.

overall,...

I tried Rumah Makan Indo at Aeroville mall and had such a nice experience! The place is really clean, the staff greet you with a friendly smile, and the food is honestly tasty—especially the sambal, so shiok if you like it spicy. Fast service, fresh dishes, and their beef is seriously good. I appreciate that it's halal certified so my Malay friends can join in too! 👍

One of the best Indonesian Cuisine I’d ever tasted in Sarawak. Those who craved for Indonesian food, look no further. Here’s the right place for you. I’d tried many places serving Indonesian cuisine, ‘Rumah Makan Indo’ provides the best Indonesia cuisine in Kuching. I absolutely love all the Sambal that comes with the set rice. Nasi Padang was my least favor but still good in terms of taste and all. Ayam Bakar which is my favourite is available 11am onwards. Do come and try this. Absolutely well worth mentioning. Spacious open concept restaurant. Clean and well lit. Good ventilation. Opens daily. Polite and attentive servers.

Nice Indonesian food. Wasn’t too packed on a Sunday noon. You order at the cashier first , and they accept cash, SPay and DuitNow QR payment methods. They’ll hand you a number and food will be served to you. Food was served quickly and was ok. Chicken was tender and had a crispy coating, served with a side of cucumbers and krupuk. Sambal spice levels were good for me but could be too spicy for most people’s palates. It was a very hot day and it was a bit stuff inside, so I sat at the back of the restaurant where it was a bit cooler due to the Aeroville mall aircond.
