I recently had the pleasure of dining at De Waiting Hall and was thoroughly impressed with their delicious food. I ordered a variety of dishes, including grilled chicken chop, chicken schnitzel, spaghetti carbonara with roasted pork, roasted spring chicken, and bacon walnut salad.
The grilled chicken chop was a thick, juicy cut of chicken, grilled to perfection. It was tender on the inside and had a smoky, grilled flavor. The chicken schnitzel was another standout dish, with a light and airy texture and a simple yet satisfying flavor. Really liked the mashed potato that comes with the dish.
The spaghetti carbonara was a creamy and satisfying pasta dish, with a rich and creamy sauce and tender pieces of roasted pork. The roasted spring chicken was pretty normal to me and was nothing special. It was well seasoned but would prefer the skin to be more crispy and the meat to be juicier.
Finally, the bacon walnut salad was a refreshing and healthy option. The salad was crisp and refreshing, with a satisfying crunch from the bacon and walnuts. It was a delicious and balanced dish that complemented the other items perfectly.
Overall, I was satisfied with my meal. The food was delicious, would prefer if the waiter/waitresses to be more attentive, and the atmosphere was ok(for families they may prefer to sit on the 2nd floor which is brighter and has more seats as the 1st floor is mostly catered...
Read moreI heard a lot about this place and decided to try. I had called ahead to reserve a table and was given a corner table. It was pouring when we arrived. The ceiling above our table was leaking, and the staff agreed to our request to move. If the staff had noticed the leak earlier, they should have closed the table.
First impressions of the food we ordered - western style food modified to local tastes. We didn't order the fusion dishes so can't comment on those.
The aglio olio was salty, yes, and was more like a wet kolo mee with bacon bits and a tinge of spice. Lacked the flavour of extra virgin oil, either insufficient or totally none in the dish.
The crispy pork in the crispy pork salad was dry. The serving was sufficient for 4 of us.
The bacon pizza was definitely thin crust to the point of having a biscuit like texture. Flavour profile was on the salty side.
The pork burger was perhaps the saving grace of our evening. The patty was thick and meaty, and very filling.
If you have senior citizens in the group, it's a bit of a climb to the dining area for the seniors.
Again, this is my personal opinion and tastes vary...

Situated behind Aeroville mall. Place is clean and it's a 2 floors restaurant include an outdoor on ground floor. Ambiance is great day time & night time. I prefer to come to chillex in the evening time & can watch aeroplanes flew by thru the glass walls. Food is good & their sauces (western dishes) is fantastic! They have pizzas and oh dear Lord! I love it! I'm not sure I was eating at Pizza Hut or at the Hall but it was worth spend for having a taste of their pizza! They have a few seafood dishes too! From fishes to shells. And I won't forget their Fish & Chips! Ohhh lala~ The lamb chop? Spank me! The flavour & juiciness my God! The liquors and cocktails? I didn't ordered because I'm not a drinker & I'm incharge of driving the car. I only ordered coffee. Sigh.. I'm so lame. Oh yes they have their own baristas and small bar downstairs (ground floor).
