The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf @ Kuching International Airport — Restaurant in Borneo

When u're sleep deprived and tired from work and u have early flight, the first thing u might want is probably a good coffee, and for sure a calm interaction with people. Yes, I got both from the staff of CBTL @ KIA. They're very friendly, and would greet u warmly when taking ur orders. The warmth and good service that they provide ease me up a bit from all the stresses. The food is nice, I specifically love the croissant bcs it's sooo softttt 😍❤️ The drinks? Lurveee. If u're not sure what to choose, u can always ask them for recommendation and they will gladly help u. Like me, I dont drink coffee for most of the times. But there's one time I needed to drink coffee to stay awake. So I ask them if they have coffee-based drinks that's not too strong since it would make me have tummy ache for the rest of the day. Then, they suggest me to order Hazelnut Latte, single shot with oatmilk. I never subs dairy milk with oatmilk before bcs I imagine the taste would be weird. I was so wrong. My drink was so good and it didnt make my tummy hurt. So yeah, I recommend that drink, but u might want to order the iced one since it's kinda sweet for me. But it's ur choice. U can order it hot or iced, whichever u prefer. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the food and drinks and the staff of CBTL @ KIA. Love you guys ❤️✨

I stopped by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at around 4:45 a.m., and it turned out to be a perfect start to the day. Despite the early hour, the café was calm, clean, and welcoming.

I ordered a breakfast set that came with a bagel and a choice of coffee — options included Americano, flat white, latte, and chai tea. I went with the latte, and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The bagel with cream cheese complemented the coffee beautifully, offering a satisfying and well-rounded breakfast.

What made the experience even better were the two ladies on duty, who were friendly, attentive, and polite. Their warm attitude added a personal touch that made the early morning visit feel pleasant and comfortable.

Overall, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf delivered both quality and service. Whether you’re catching an early flight or starting your day before sunrise, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

On 3/2/2025 at around 10pm, the female cashier at the counter in Kuching International Airport displayed a disrespectful attitude. When I ordered a Hazelnut Latte and inquired about the available cup sizes, she responded in a rude manner, stating that a small is a small and a large is a regular. Despite requesting a regular size, my wife hesitated on her order. The cashier's unpleasant demeanor was evident, even though there was no one waiting behind us. Without further ado, I grabbed my wife's arm and left. Due to the behavior of your well-trained employee, I have no intention of returning to Coffee Bean...
