The must-try dish is the Nasi Lemak Chicken Rendang with Bario Rice, which is elevated by using premium Bario rice from the Sarawak highlands, providing a generous and filling meal that's often considered good value for the price. The quality and consistency of Sarawak Kopitiam's food extend beyond their airport counter. We can personally vouch for their high standards as we previously entrusted them to cater for the secretariat at airport during the ASEAN events. This speaks volumes about their capability to handle high-volume demand while maintaining authentic, excellent flavor. Read moreOur favourite place whenever we're at the airport. They offer local cuisine that's affordable and tasty. The cafe is cosy.
I guess their highlight menu here is the bario rice. The rice was perfectly cooked, with each grain firm yet tender, offering a satisfying bite. The fried chicken is huge and well-seasoned. The portions are generous.
The tumpik or the local pancake, unfortunately, were quite hard.
I love their coffee. It tastes like a local coffee, which we usually get whenever we drink a coffee at the old kopitiam.
The staff are friendly and attentive. The services are quick...
