Great location, the views are spectacular! Saw a proboscis monkey maybe only 10 meters away climb up a tree. No beer, this happens at certain places and often means they're owned or operated by Muslims. Modern music on that was fairly loud, almost like a club (okay, not nearly as loud as a club.) Maybe I'm just old and grouchy, but I would have liked to hear more jungle sounds and relaxing music. My wife and I are vegetarians and had a very filling and delicious meal. We ordered fried noodles with veggies, french fries, and spring rolls. Great service and very nice guy working the counter and delivering food and drinks.

Please save your time and money and avoid this as a vegan. We read in the reviews that they do some vegan stuff if you ask and this is definitely not true. The staff was not really helpful either and I ended up having 2 portions of French fries. Waiting 40 minutes on the first one and 25 on the second. Portions are not big and the second fries were even less. They said though when we entered that the food may take up 30 - 40 minutes because they had a bigger group. If you only go there for a drink and want to enjoy view and wildlife it’s a good place to go.

Hence we negotiated for a la carte meals from the kitchen. The 5 star goes to the very helpful & apologetic staff, and I was quite thankful they agreed & helped out as we were famished after the hike. The fried bee hoon turned out better than expected just a bit too salty with very tasty teh-C and a great view & breezy weather for our breakfast!
