Grab was prohibited for drop-off because MyCar was the sponsor (we will ban MyCar for life). Patrons were forced to stop 1.5 km away and pay RM16 for the shuttle van, which was initially priced at RM14 but was increased to RM16 on the spot. No plastic bottles were allowed. While this was for environmental reasons, there was no water for sale at the event. We saw a pregnant woman beg for water before she was given a bottle. There was a water refill station, but no paper cups were provided, so patrons had to figure out on their own on how to get it. No raincoats were given or sold. It poured on Saturday, and there were no announcements about where to shelter from the rain, or when the show would start. It seems like the organizer never plan for plan B. We were left wet and uninformed. Shuttle bus service ended at 1 am, but due to the rain, the music event was delayed. There were no announcements about the shuttle status. When we reached the pick-up point, there were fewer than 5 shuttle buses. Why the organizer has such confident with this decision?

We were excited about the event and recommended it to many friends, but we felt ashamed and had to apologize on its behalf. Please do...
Read moreI attended the Rainforest Festival 2024 Saturday session with high hopes as a Malaysian, expecting a vibrant international cultural experience. However, the reality was disappointing. The event lacked a strong cultural presence and was poorly organized from the start. We were informed that shuttle buses were fully booked, forcing many of us to rely on Grab rides. Yet, Grab cars couldn't drop us directly at the festival entrance, necessitating an additional shuttle van ride. To our surprise, this shuttle ride wasn't complimentary despite paying for entrance tickets—it cost RM16 for a mere 1.2km. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations for an event of...
Read moreRWMF 2019 Is one of my bucket list. Grab my early bird ticket for RM125 per person. The originality of the local music instruments from around the world associated with their class performance make the festival unique and internationally outstanding. The event with great stage, clean and well organized. Great culture performance from different country. However they should not charge for such an exorbitant shuttle price RM14 return for such a short ride from...
