(January 2024): Honestly, I hated their laksa soooooo much!!! The soup and the shredded chicken on the laksa taste so bad. 😖😖😖 I enjoyed the noodle at the hand mee stall, but it takes up to 30 minutes for your noodle to get done, since there’s only two chefs working at the stall from now. 🙂🙂🙂 The Cha Kueh tastes funny, or was it my taste buds?🤨🤨🤨 I agree with some people on Google Maps recommending the clay pot mee, I used to ate that when I was a kid, can’t wait eat their claypot mee again soon. 😋😋😋
I sincerely recommend the noodle from the hand mee stall, but not the laksa. 🙂🙂🙂

Read moreTypical Kuching coffee shop food court that has been in operation for many years already and popular, with almost its own regular following especially for the breakfast crowd. It also has its own Chinese restaurant operating upstairs. In the early days, this was one of the few places in Kuching that had dim sum, albeit its limited variety. Their chai kueh which has a variety of filling is also famous. There are also numerous stalls serving the usual local food, such as laksa, kolo mee, Cha kueh, claypot mee, economy fast food, porridge and so on, which are all pretty good. They have an air conditioned seating section, but is only slightly cooler there. The drinks ordering and serving is prompt. In fact, on one occasion when they got my drink order wrong, they quickly replaced it and even offered me to finish off the wrong drink if I wanted. Overall, this coffee shop is quite clean and well maintained over the years...
Read more8ish morning visit. Laksa (large - not sizable) was RM10. A friend says it's akin to curry flavoured broth rather than laksa paste made. My drinks, Teh.sy.Peng & Kopi.Peng RM5, also tasted watered down. It's not like "the kitchen" was just getting started or busy ... Bought 2 takeaway lunch boxes was RM20 from the buffet service & 8 pieces of banana fritters was RM6.40; none were a hit. Guess I won't be going out of my way to be here...
