Ordered a large bowl of laksa and got a huge bowl of what seems like a classic bowl of comfort food, until I tasted the soup. From the very first sip of the broth, the heat was intense and lingering. The flavors are difficult to pinpoint because of the strong spices. Prawns were well deveined and relatively fresh, with a satisfying bite to them. Great that they didnt skimp on the cilantro either, which most laksa stalls now tend to do Other ingredients were acceptable. If youโre gonna have this, dont forget your serviettes as it will make you sweat and snivel throughout the entire meal. First time I ordered, it came with a foamy top and the taste is perfect with aromatic coffee and milk fragrance. It's perfect. But when I ordered the 2nd glass, it came different. The milk can be seen at the bottom and no more foamy top. I mean it's still kopi c Peng but the taste is so far off. It's not nice anymore. I tried to order it again the next day and then it came with the foamy top again. Taste is great again! And then again, the 2nd glass is different like I described above. ย ย ย Read moreThe seats outside are pretty cooling and not stuffy. The tom yam fried rice from the porridge stall is delicious and flavourful with pork sausage and salted fish toppings. The nasi lemak with ayam rendang is also good. The sambal is not that spicy and the rendang is not dry. The pak lo chicken rice is pretty flavourful and the soup in the small bowl has a nice tangy flavour to it. The iced lemon tea tastes great as they use imported lemons and the tea flavour is not too strong.
