The sup ikan experience at this eatery was a mix of delight and disappointment. The initial taste of the milk-infused soup was promising, offering a flavorful blend that was heightened by the addition of salted plum, which added a new dimension to the taste profile. However, the anticipation deflated with each bite of the fried fish fillet. While the soup was rich, the fish failed to meet expectations, scoring a mere 6 out of 10 for its freshness. Moreover, the portions were modest, with only 4 to 5 small fillets provided.

Amidst this, the redeeming quality was the fragrant sambal, which served as a savory contrast, enhancing the overall dining experience despite the fish's shortcomings.

On the positive side, the pricing of RM13 was reasonable, considering the dish's composition. However, it would have been more satisfying if the quality and quantity of the fish fillets matched the flavorful richness of the soup. A commendable effort overall, but with room for improvement in ensuring consistency and quality across all elements...

I discovered this place through Google map. It is located far from town (in Alamesra) but we decided to give it a try because of its excellent reviews.

At first glance, the place is quiet and has little customers, so we were kinda doubtful if the place is good. The place offers a good variety of noodles and rice dishes. We ordered the wantanhor and asam fish slice with rice set. To our surprise, both dishes taste absolutely amazing! We love the flavourful dishes and the fresh fish.

The price is reasonable and the lady boss is humble & friendly. (She and her dad cooks the dishes themselves and they have been operating the business for the past 8 years.) We will definitely recommend this place and come back again to try their...

08.07.22 Was at Alamesra, lunch time is near so decided to have it at Xiang You...Very friendly lady boss & introduced many dishes but we still settled for Wet Fried Noodle & Seafood WanTonHo... This shop has similar style as other Beaufort Restaurant in KK, it offered Rice Set & other noodles...Frying style is similar like Beaufort but with their own twist...✌️ The noodles dishes have the 'wok fried' taste & quite generous offering...Price is...
