We reached this non-airconditional restaurant on weekdays at about 9am. Although it got the ceiling fans and stand fans, but, they were so dirty and could not swing. The ambience was so warm until we kept on sweating while taking breakfast here.

Signature xixiami was the greatest disappointment. It was indeed tasted like jawa mee and nowhere related to prawn noodle. The broth was poorly made. All ingredients were not mixed well into the broth. Prawn cracker tasted ok when it was still dry, but when dipped too long into the broth, it was so odd and disgusting. RM17.90 with 2 middle prawns was overpriced in light of poor quality. 1 star
Kaya butter toast was mediocre. It was too dry. Nothing special. RM3 per serving. 2 stars
Half boiled egg 2 pieces at RM3 was nothing to shout about. The egg yoke was too watery. 1 star
Classic nasi lemak at RM4.90 was the best among the worst. The rice, egg, curry, sambal, anchovies, and peanut were mediocre. 2 stars
The local coffee at RM2 and hot barley drink at RM1.80 were mediocre. 2 stars
I would not come again to pay RM35.60 for breakfast for 2 persons under these uncomfortable...
Read moreStumbled upon Seven Seven Cafe while looking for a chill breakfast spot, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a small, no-frills cafe located in a quiet residential area, the kind of place you wouldn’t know about unless someone told you, but that’s part of its charm.
The menu isn’t huge, but it covers the essentials, and everything is reasonably priced. Portions are just right, not too much, not too little, and the food tastes genuinely good. I tried a few dishes, but the barbecue pork absolutely stole the show. Honestly, it might be one of the best I’ve had anywhere in Malaysia. Super flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. If you’re into char siu or roast pork, don’t skip it.
Parking was surprisingly easy, which is a big plus if you're not a fan of hunting for spots early in the morning. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and pleasant.
If you're in the area and looking for a cozy, affordable breakfast spot with solid food and good vibes, definitely give Seven Seven Cafe a try. I’d happily come back again just for that...
Read moreThe Xixiami noodle is great, soup looks a like mixture of Jawa mee and Hokkien Mee, tasty & spicy. Lots of ingredients such as eggs, 2 pcs prawn cracker, tofu, potato. The lime must added inside the soup, which made the taste more flavourful. Prawn cracker dip together with the soup is perfect match.
Side order such as Prawn Cracker, it is crunchy, goes well with the chili sauce and even could dip with soup for continuously enjoy the best match of food. Nanju Pork Belly, great with full of nanju taste, bit crunchy as well.
Overall is great and satisfied. Worth for a return trip in coming future.
Pricing is reasonable, but one drawback is limited parking space. It need to be park near the road side or opposite area of the shop.
