Decided to try this place after craving for Mee Udang for some time. The shop right beside beach so it is enjoyable place to dine with sea view but if there’s no natural wind then it will be quite hot as they only have 1 small standing fan which we don’t really feel much. The aunty attending to us were very friendly however she missed out a drink and a food at the end so do double check your order right after ordering. Here’s what we tried :
Mee Udang Small Rm 20 ⭐️⭐️ They have small, medium and large size shrimp to choose from. Despite I choose small it was quite big enough for me already since they give 5 of it. The sea shrimp also fresh and sweet. The only downside is the gravy doesn’t have shrimp taste/aroma and tomato flavour. It was not spicy at all, not even the slightest so children can eat it easily. The portion was decent.
Nasi Goreng Udang Small Rm 15 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The nasi goreng got wok hei quite nice to go with their sambal.
Nasi Goreng China Rm 7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not too oily and in good portion.

Great news for all Salwa Mee Udang OG fans. Just had our dinner there with my family yesterday.
Pak cik Salwa's son has decided to reopened the shop after 4 years of leasing it to another operator. With the help of his father, the taste is more than 90% similar to the nostalgic taste we all know & love!
Waiting time is around 10 mins and I ordered a RM 25 Mee Udang (medium). Definitely cost effective as we got served a good amount of noodles with 5 medium -sized prawns. The large set (comes with large prawns, RM 30/meal) was out of stock yesterday.

Still the BEST mee udang!!! We have been the fans of Salwa Mee Udang since 30 years ago. Now is the second generation of Pakcik Azmin ~ the son who is the new chef in charge of the kitchen. Service is good, chef is very humble and friendly like Pakcik Azmin. Cool breeze and relaxing place by the beach....
