Very disappointed with the food .We took 3 of their recommended dishes , steam chicken, pork rib rendang ,and lotus root soup. None turn out to be good . Steam chicken just tasteless , the yellow gravy just make it worse and taste artificial. Pork rib is still tough to chew ,and the lotus roots are just not enough to go around . We also order a hokkien Char , it came in claypot with noodles swimming in soup, never seen such thing before, half pot of soup left. Paying is another shocker, first they will ask if you use their tissue given out on table. Then they will charge $1.20 for each tissue used. When question why they didn't let us know beforehand, they said it's for tips for the staff. Looks like this place is just skimming for pennies instead of focusing in serving good food. It's just sad to have such business in Penang. Not...

RM207+ for 4 person dine minus the desserts (if added total was about ~RM230 with 2 desserts) . ALL dishes were SMALL. We wanted siakap curry fish but was told to take the grouper instead. Not too sure if that was a trap to ask us to take a more expensive fish as we were charged 70+ for that small pot of curry fish.
All other dishes were nothing special and were not expensive veggies either, definitely not worth the price. The meat slice with the preserved veggie was only about 3mm thick.
This place is not recommended anymore. Price too expensive. Imagine got slaughtered even when we are locals who...
Read moreLoved their bitter gourd eggs and brinjal tofu. The eggs were almost runny in texture, almost like a good western scramble egg. The brinjal on the tofu was really tasty and went so well with white rice. Some of my dining companions remarked that it was a little too salty for them but it was fine for me. Ordered their special guai fei chicken (half a chicken) and while the taste was great, the texture was soft as they used regular chicken instead of kampung chicken. Steamed fish with Vermicelli was ok. Desserts were quite good - mango pomelo sago and mung bean soup. Overall...
