[got event ah?]
We had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit. It was a busy weekend dinner, and although we had made reservations, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The main issue was the poor attitude of the waitress (wearing a coat, one of the seniors), who, in my opinion, exhibited behavior far worse than the typical level of service one might expect.
When we placed our order, she was visibly uninterested and reluctant to offer any recommendations. Fine, we continued with our order. I also found the 8 treasure chicken well cooked. Tender soft chicken and move aromatic gravy, even though it has a over abundance of herbs. Sometimes less is more.
The salted egg prawn was above average and doesn't suffer from excessive batter. The claypot tofu light but flavourful. The sweet sour pork and fried veggie was just average.
The egg meanwhile was a little disappointing. A bit thick and inadequate seasoning. The crunchy edge was also missing. I think they should do better.
In short, the restaurant serves above average food but from the local reputation, I...
