  1. overall - clean environment, Chinese restaurant, good venue for event and gathering, perfect eating place for chinese new year and family dinner, plenty of seating capacity, limited parking, reasonable price, good quality food served, highly recommended dishes are stir fry omelette with crabmeat and scallop, curry prawn in bread, red bean pastry, steamed fish, claypot brinjal with minced meat and many more from Wu Jia Chinese Restaurant
  2. stir fry omelette with crabmeat and scallop - juicy crabmeat scallop omelette, top with perfectly fried a little crispy scallop, pair with freshly washed lettuce, mixture of crispy juicy and tasty texture, it was delicious, favourite dish for for all age
  3. curry prawn in bread - flavourful flavourful semi-dried curry with freshly cooked prawn, sweetness of the seafood penetrates through the spiciness of the curry, was not too spicy, perfect combo when dip with bread
  4. redbean pantry - favourite order for dessert, never fail to impress, crispy fried skin wrapped with semi-sweet red bean but little melting red bean paste, great pair with hot or cold dessert soup
  5. aiyu jelly - tasted ok
  6. lemon cincau - can skip :P
  7. stir fry french bean - tasted great, fresh and crunchy
  8. braised tofu with broccoli - great combo, flavouful
  9. scrambled egg with tomato -...

We had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit. It was a busy weekend dinner, and although we had made reservations, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The main issue was the poor attitude of the waitress (wearing a coat, one of the seniors), who, in my opinion, exhibited behavior far worse than the typical level of service one might expect.

When we placed our order, she was visibly uninterested and reluctant to offer any recommendations. Fine, we continued with our order. However, the real issue arose when it came time to serve the dishes. Our steamed fish seemed to have been forgotten by the kitchen—it took over an hour to arrive. When it finally did, it was undercooked. We politely asked for it to be re-steamed, but the waitress responded with a clearly frustrated demeanor and took the dish away without any apology.

Additionally, she failed to take our order correctly, resulting in one of the dishes missing from the list. When we ordered, she wasn’t paying attention, which led to the mistake.

We’ve been regular customers of Wu Jia, but with the service we received from this waitress and the restaurant’s inability to manage peak hours effectively, we no longer feel inclined to return. Please be advised to avoid having this particular lady serve you—her attitude was extremely...

This has a very standard Chinese restaurant look and elegant. Floors look new and clean. Tables are comfortably large and well arranged. Staffs are efficient and helpful.

Parking is at the basement but it is narrow and the turning angles tight. Big cars will need to be careful.

As far as the food is concerned, to be honest, I expected better. I wasn't wowed except for 2 dishes. I absolutely loved the grilled iberico ribs. Tender, juicy, sweet and well seasoned. Superb. I also found the 8 treasure chicken well cooked. Tender soft chicken and move aromatic gravy, even though it has a over abundance of herbs. Sometimes less is more.

The salted egg prawn was above average and doesn't suffer from excessive batter. The claypot tofu light but flavourful. The sweet sour pork and fried veggie was just average.

The egg meanwhile was a little disappointing. A bit thick and inadequate seasoning. The crunchy edge was also missing. I think they should do better.

In short, the restaurant serves above average food but from the local reputation, I...
