Kedai Makanan & Minuman Jaya Corner (Seafood Restaurant) — Restaurant in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

Visited this restaurant on 10/8/19 at 8pm with 4 others, and we saw only 3 tables were occupied. We ordered 3 kungpo pork rice, 2 kungpo fish rice and drinks. After that, few crowds came and occupied another 4 tables.

An hour passed, it was 9pm, 1 of the 4 tables that were later than us had their food served, so we asked one of the staffs (the lady with bob hair, wearing green shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes in the picture), why was their food served before us since they arrived after us, and she explained rudely that they had made their order through the phone earlier that day. We also asked whether our food was in the process of being prepared and she again rudely said NO.

She did not even try to explain or apologize, it was as though our presence was not welcomed, maybe because of how little we ordered, compared to other tables’ meat and fish dishes. We then asked her again how long do we have to wait, where she said that there are 2 more tables’ orders until our turn.

Basically, she made sound like it was as though every other tables were there before us, and we were only given 3 types of answers: the table came before you, the table had waited very long, and the table had made prior booking. So, we paid for our drinks and left.

I had been there a few times, and I can say that their food is quite nice, but I had bad experience with the rude staff a few times, and heard from many others that concur with my point - RUDE STAFF.

Hope to see some improvements in the near future, jangan sebab nila setitik, rosak susu...

This is a popular Chinese restaurant located in Bukit Beruang area of Melaka.

Rice, noodles and many Chinese dishes are available in this restaurant. The standard of cooking is good. During the non MCO, their steamed fish with ginger paste is good. The Prawn Sambal Rice is recommended too.

The restaurant offers the usual Restaurant drink selections.

The restaurant has started serving dine in customers. Operating hour's had normalised. Strict Standard Operating Procedures are adhered.

Cleanliness is acceptable.

Service and waiting time are reasonable.

Prices are reasonable. Both cash and e-wallet and I will payments are accepted here.

There are a few small steps in front of their restaurant. This render patrons on wheelchairs some difficulties to patronize this restaurant.

Parkings are roadside parkings. There is a a large carpark nearby too.

Old & popular eatery. No frills dai chow. Came here for dinner as the one nearby was packed. Reasonably clean. Service a hit & miss. Constant flow of customers. Quite pricey almost Klang Valley level. Lots of parking.

We ordered 4 dishes - salted fish pork belly, ginger chicken, fried omelette & mix veggies. Portions were rather small especially for the price. Taste wise just average. No kick in the dishes especially the pork belly & chicken. Mix veggy was the only highlight.

Overall just okay. Doubt will return especially with better...
