Madam Yan Bukit Beruang Food Court — Restaurant in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

This is a newly opened food court in Bukit Beruang area of Melaka.

There are indoor and outdoor tables available.

The food court is large and has about 30 food stalls. The food stalls served a wide variety of food. Standard of food served in this food court is of reasonable standard. Food portions are reasonable.

Nasi Goreng Pattaya is available here. An interesting dish and recommended. The Ice Nyonya Cendol is served with fine ice shavings with nice Gula Melaka. Highly recommended to order the Ice Cendol.

The food court serves the usual coffee shop drinks.

Cleanliness is good.

Service is fast.

Prices are reasonable. Cash and e-wallet payments are accepted here.

Public washrooms are available within the food court.

There is a large carpark for the patrons. Parkings are also available outside the food court.

Handicapped patrons on wheelchair s can patronize this food court easily.

19-05-2923 : Nasi Lemak is great. Due to the good turnover, food is served warm and fresh. ABC was a good combination with the Nasi Lemak.

12-08-2023 : Enjoyed a nice plate of Curry Chicken with Braised Pork Rice. Ice Cendol served here was great.

13-10-3023 ; The Curry Noodles with extra ingredients was good. Surprisingly, was able to get Singapore Style Fried Hokkien Mee here.

22-12-2023 : The Curry Chicken with Braised Pork (Lobak) Rice was fantastic. The braised pork was tender and juicy. Combining this dish with Ice Cendol made a great match.

06-03-2024 : All stalls are operating. Food qualities are good. Prices are reasonable and competitive.

10-05-2024 : The stall selling Taibak had stopped this dessert. Cendol and ABC are still available. Enjoyed the Pork Burger from one of the stalls.

18-11-2024 : The Curry Mee Hoon is good and recommended. The Seafood Fried Rice and Salted Vegetables Fish Head Soup are recommended too.

02-03-2025 : Business is unchanged. Their Ginger Spring Onion Fish Strips Rice is reasonable.

I visit this restaurant at 25 Jun, when I arrived at the restaurant, we noticed that the table we were seated at was not clean. We waited for about 10 minutes before a staff member came to clean the table for us. This was not a good first impression, as it showed a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.

After we were finally seated, the staff member who took our order took an unreasonable amount of time to come to our table. We had to wave at them several times to get their attention. When they finally came to take our order, they did not seem interested in providing us with any recommendations or answering our questions about the menu. They simply took our order and left without any explanation or courtesy.

After placing our order, we waited for what felt like an extremely long time for our food to arrive. When it finally did, we were disappointed to find that the quality of the food did not match the high prices we paid. To make matters worse, the beverage that we ordered was served much later than the food. In fact, we had already finished our meal by the time it arrived.

Overall, our experience at this restaurant was very poor. The staff were inattentive, unprofessional, and provided poor service. The slow service, coupled with the unclean table and late beverage, made for an unpleasant experience that we would not...

——— We visited Madam Yan at Bukit Beruang Food Court on 19th July 2025 at 1 PM. It wasn’t crowded at the time. The vinegar pork knuckle (RM13) was excellent, with a strong aroma of ginger and a perfectly balanced sweet and sour taste. The meat, both lean and fatty, was cooked to perfection, melting in the mouth. The mixed pork soup (RM12) was full of ingredients, all perfectly cooked, hitting just the right flavor notes. The yam rice (RM2.30 per bowl) was equally impressive, with the yam well-cooked and soft. The vegetables cost RM8.

The total cost for three adults was within RM50.
