Attended a grand wedding banquet at Lucky Palace Restaurant, Ayer Keroh, and it was an unforgettable evening from start to finish.
The venue is spacious, elegant, and perfect for large-scale events like weddings. The ballroom was beautifully set, with smooth service and professional staff throughout the evening.
The 8-course Chinese banquet was a culinary delight: Lobster Five Fortune Platter: Fresh and festive, with tender lobster meat and an appetizing variety of starters. Abalone & Dried Scallop Chicken Soup: Rich, nourishing broth packed with umami—comforting and luxurious. Steamed Dragon Grouper: Perfectly cooked, flaky and fresh, elevated by golden garlic and superior soy sauce. Half Roasted Suckling Pig with Buns: Crispy skin, succulent meat—pure indulgence. The soft steamed buns were great for DIY sliders. Fried Prawns (Butter & Lime): Juicy, crisp and bursting with flavor. A standout dish. Dried Oyster & Green Mustard Rice: Earthy, savory, and satisfying with layers of traditional flavors. Golden Char Siew Buns: Crisp outside, sweet-savory molten filling—fun and delicious! Honeydew Sago with Ice Cream: Light, chilled and refreshing—a perfect ending.
Bonus points for the live entertainment: the bride herself was the lead singer and MC, and the father of the bride surprised everyone with two classic songs—Elvis’s It’s Now or Never and Unchained Melody. Truly a night of heartfelt celebration, music, and top-notch food.
Highly recommend Lucky Palace for wedding dinners or large banquets. Pro tip: Take a Grab if you're not familiar with parking...
Read moreKindly improve on your service and food quality thank you ..their food like hokkien mee, four seasons or set dinner is just average only their pork stew chicken stew thai chicken not marinated well …there were two captains that were friendly except one thin, slim captain and when we left he and another waiter said thank you to everyone except me which made me feel awkward and unwelcomed this happened twice already the other time was some time ago like last year... I went with my family yesterday at 8pm night we had roasted chicken it would be better if the chicken was crispier...overall the dishes are okay but a little expensive and they charge the kacang condiments RM1.50 per person which is rather overcharged at Rm6.00 for 4 pax usually the condiments are only RM3.00 to RM4.50 per plate but that's okay no problem. Again your service is good but can be improved thank you especially the waiters should be more attentive in pouring the tea for guests when the cup is empty otherwise the food is good especially the sharks fin soup and tong po loh with bun and the roast chicken should be crispier thank you Note: your lady captain eileen was not friendly abit impolite called customer in middle of having their dinner not so professional plus she didnt say thank you too please improve on...
