Restoran Hock Chin — Restaurant in Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council

Purposely drive from Klang over last Sunday however closed that why today we come try again. Cleaniess is good, toilet is cleanliness is good too. Good delivery is fast, friendly staff especially Indian lady that speak mandarin. She kinda shock 2 person order so much. Prawn is great with sesame, steam lala a bit salty but my gf love it, spicy lala is spicy and taste great, lady finger with sambal and lime on top quite refreshing, siham is okay but a bit muddy inside, rojak aka tauhu bakar that I prefer another place, spicy balitong is my favourites but hazardous spicy maybe I over express but it really spicy in good way. We taste the nyoya nasi lemak too and it quite nice but the drink is so so... Oh ya, otak otak muar just normal maybe been overpowered by another food that much better. Will come again.. Visited this site for the first time after the boss told us they are open for 15 years! Belief it or not?

Highly recommended to order: The Tauhu Bakar - RM 8 (super satisfying) Lala - RM 8 (more) Cockles - albeit a bit small, but according to my mom that has came here many years ago the cockles has improved, its cleaner nowadays not much sand is contained inside

Not recommended: Scallop - because the boiled scallop cost RM10 for two pieces and it doesn’t taste fresh(understandable because scallop isnt available locally)

It is more hygienic because of the stainless steel table and pot to throw the shells. And it is definitely cleaner compared to the one near bunga raya where you sit beside the drain( totally touristy vibe) but this location is further than Jonker street which is not walkable.

But if you are driving, why not? Come at about 10pm 🕙 to enjoy lesser...

Needed to queue a bit. Order taking, cooking and serving of food all done by foreign workers. Food taste not impressive at all, using same pot of water to boil all the seafood and vege. Squid kangkung is watery, chili sauce is different with last time but just satay celup sauce topped with some crunched peanut. Service so so, bad one especially from the beverage aunty who appeared so impatient when we tried to order drinks and asked any iced drinks available, she frowned and quickly brushed off by offering only the pre-packed drink inside fridge (ask you want or don’t want?) while clearly many table were served iced cincau water. Not recommended, definitely will not...
