This restaurant is a truly a “hidden gem” for an unforgettable Middle Eastern dining experience, You are welcomed with the warm aroma of Arabic spices the moment you step inside.
We had their Grilled Lamb Mandi Rice, which was incredibly succulent and tender, with the meat effortlessly falling off the bone, and each bite was bursting with juicy, well-marinated flavors. The accompanying Mandi rice was well cooked, fragrant, and they were not stingy on the spices.
Next, we indulged their Mixed Grilled Platter served with Arabic flatbread. Featuring grilled chicken and lamb cooked to perfection. The char on the outside added a delightful smokiness, while the inside remained succulent and flavorful. The accompanying yogurt dip was delicious too and this helped elevated the flavours; however, I woild recommend the restaurant add a slice of lemon for those who wants to adjust the acidity to their preference.
To round off our meal, we ordered an Arabic tea pot. The tea arrived piping hot, with its blend of spices perfectly balanced, making it a comforting conclusion to a hearty meal.
The ambiance is air-conditioned and they’re well-ventilated and offers a comfortable dining environment, though it can become quite noisy during peak hours. A recommendation to the restaurant: incorporating sound-absorbing materials could help create a quieter, more refined atmosphere akin to high-end establishments.
Overall, it’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine in Johor. Signing off — this “hidden gem” has the potential to shine...
