Attended a wedding near Skudai Johor and decided to put up a night after the event. The check-in was quick enough though I came at around 11.00pm. Booked a superior triple room which came with a queen bed and a single bed. Plus point, though a small capacity room, it had three clean towels and bathroom amenities such as three toothbrushes. Far from the city, but close to UTM and golf course. No hassle check in and out. There are many food courts around the hotel and U Mall , AEON are within walking distance. The room is a bit small, no place to store your big luggages. All smoking rooms, and WIFI is so slow. Bed and linen are changed everyday. Unless you get a thing to do around the area, its not recommended...

Why would you name your hotel in Skudai town as ‘Austin’? ‘Austin’ is the next town. This further confuses travellers when in Austin town itself, there is another ‘Austin Paradise’.

If one travels to Skudai, he will realise he went to the wrong hotel and the Austin one is 30 mins away wrong direction without traffic jam. So what if it is jammed?
