Latest visit 2023: This place had 5 star review in the past. Since then, the experienced workers have all left. Service quite bad. Food below average. Sadly will never return.
Prior visit 2022: Came here after recommendations from a friend abroad. Very simple setup. No fancy decos, music or menu. However, it was absolutely first class Middle Eastern cuisine. Everything we had was cooked to perfection. Portions were huge that we had to take away lots of items. The simple dishes like bread and hummus were just amazing and made a complete perfect meal by itself. Service was top notch though they were not that fluent in Malay or English. Absolutely glad to find this place that provides that authentic experience and taste. Will definitely be visiting here frequently.
Update: We have visited this place several times since the first visit. Tried many items including rice dishes. Did not like the lamb kabsaā¦. More of taste preference rather than food quality. Everything is consistently good here. The fries is real potato and not frozen chips. The lebanese bread has to be ādine inā only. It gets very tough and chewy after take away. It is soft, crispy and delicious...

The dishes served here were mostly middle east cuisines. But still, the taste was still incorporated with asian taste. Food Order is available for dining in, take away and also hhĆy. Price is quite affordable. One of the best middle-east cuisine serve in Johor Bahru.
Almost every race can be seen there. Such as but also all sort of race including malays, chinese, and also indians. Must eat menu are Lamb Kabsah (my all time fav), Mix rice and shwarma. Averall is 4/5 because the cookings mostly for the chicken are quite dry nowadays. Not like back in 5 years ago which all the cookings which is cooked to its perfection . The lost of too much moisture in their chicken is...

The customer service experience at Bilad Al-Rafidain falls far short of expectations. Despite canceling an order due to excessive wait times, the staff's response lacked urgency or effort to rectify the situation. Their casual acceptance of the cancellation without attempting to address the delay or offer compensation highlights a disregard for customer satisfaction.
A proactive approach to customer service involves acknowledging the inconvenience, apologizing, and making genuine efforts to resolve the issue. However, the staff's lack of initiative reflects deeper cultural issues within the establishment.
This apathetic response not only fails to resolve the immediate issue but also contributes to a negative dining experience. Bilad Al-Rafidain's prioritization of staff convenience over customer satisfaction is evident and unacceptable.
Given the lack of concern for customer satisfaction, extended wait times, and apathetic responses, avoiding Bilad Al-Rafidain in the future seems like a...
