Bonfire Smoke & Grill — Restaurant in Iskandar Puteri

Last time my friends and I (4 persons) were searching for something to eat and gather together so we find this open restaurant through ‘RedNote’ and the comment was said its quite good then we just like how bout we try this one, never try never know😛. The open restaurant is located beside the road corner and it also close to residential area, you may park at the shop opposite cause sometimes it gonna full inside, it’s not always got parking (Dk if weekdays the same or not🤷). This atmosphere was quite good tbh and the outside was hmm.. we sit beside the campfire (dk it’s to create atmosphere or something) but the smoke that campfire made always keep blowing on us💔. Our seating position is not that good actually but u can sit like other places not like the camp place. And the food price hmmm I think a bit higher than others? And in our opinion the tastes is ok je not like the dishes that u will stand up and clap your hands 👏 and we even second round to the ‘mamak’ near this open restaurant. I think this is not something u gonna eat enough, it’s just a place to chill and enjoy some snacks and drinks. If u want to eat enough still can lah but the price just went to a bit higher that u can eat even better at outside...

Honestly, its not worth the price. Example, paying for ribeye which stated 250g and price is rm89.90 almost rm90..see the photo the slices meat.. isnt it pathetic? Not sure if they underweigh the meat as it doesnt seem like 250g.

For the lamb its even more pathetic as the slice is very thin. First impression was like... huh... so the meat so thin????? Feels like a scam.

And the ambience is not a 5 star hotel. Its just a normal place not even an air conditioned place. The food portion is not generous. I rather have ribeye elsewhere with generous portion. The amount of broccoli, mash potato is seriously pathetic. If you are a big eater, a plate won't be enough for you.

And using that kind of ice cube having screw in it... I don't favour it.

The onion ring is nice as it is from original onion. Will i return? I don't think so. With the price, I rather go elsewhere with generous portion.

Crazyyyy... and honestly though I'm not a big eater... I still feel hungry after...

Booked indoor seating for my family of 8. Didnt know there was no aircond. The food was good. Steak didn’t disappoint. If I could wish for improvement, marshmallow for kids would be fun since there are bonfire around the area. Perhaps more variety for sides to go with steak, not everyone loves brocolli and/or mushroom. By the end of the meal, the taste of steak is overpowered by the blackpepper sauce. Would be nice if plenty of sauce is offered.

Was a good meal but for that price point, I honestly think an aircond setting would be better. Owner can kindly consider reducing price of drinks and the 10% service charge. 6pax of steak and 3 other dishes cost more than 950, exceeding our expectation of 7-800 since that was the price point of other steakhouse we went in that area.

They open at 5.30pm. Recommend to book beforehand, full house on a Saturday night. Cardholder not available yet, so prepare cash or...
