Came to explore this (rather) new development in Gelang Patah. Saw many diners at Kanteen31 and decided to try their food too! Had their signature dry chili ban mee, fried beehoon, curry noodles and thick Milo toast. All nicely executed - the highlight of the ban mee was definitely the amazing chilli and the curry noodles was surprisingly rich, flavourful and value-for-money for the portion. Have to commend a kitchen staff (or was he the cook/chef?) as he was the one who noticed that my partner wasn't eating cos his food hasn't been served even 15 to 20 mins after my food arrived. The floor manager (chinese guy) was quite apologetic when he realized what happened and our order came quickly after that :) Even though it was lunch time peak hour when I visited, the queue moved fast and we did not have to wait too long to be seated or served. Drinks were nice too! Ample parking space! Staff were friendly. Clean restrooms. Pocket-friendly prices. Great song playlist.

Read moreIn my quest to try all the makan places of Avenue68, I dropped by here for breakfast.
The place is clean with a kopitiam vibe in a nice environment. There were chairs outside for waiting but there was no queue when we came. Ordering was from QR code and service was fast, we received our food within 10 minutes +/-.
Tomyam meehun with chicken. Honestly, the Tomyam meehun was nothing to shout, mediocre at its best. I ordered it because of rave reviews here. The side chicken was juicy tho. Toast bites, again, tasted really average. Matcha kopi was good. Highlight of my brekky.
Maybe I ordered the wrong stuff? For me, it wouldn't be a repeat visit. The pricing was alright, not too expensive but still, not very affordable. It does lose in terms of price performance ratio, as it did not go on par with...
