Plenty of parking in front of the place. Only one waiter but very attentive. The place is very clean, air conditioned and decorated nicely. Uses plastic plates. Price a bit expensive for the food. Maybe the rent is expensive here, I dunno. Ordered lontong goreng. Lontong was tasty but the accompanying sambal was salty. However, I found a piece of plastic in my food. Not sure how messy the kitchen is to have plastic mixed with food. Also ordered ayam penyet sira. Takes very long to arrive. The waiter told us the chicken was cooked upon order. When it finally arrived the sambal for ayam penyet was replaced with sambal for nasi lemak. The sambal for ayam penyet is not ready yet. Excuse given is that ayam penyet is usually a lunch menu (we came 11 am). Should have told us before we ordered if there was anything not ready or the kitchen should have told the waiter to inform us that they can’t make it in time. Customers don’t wanna hear excuses after not getting what they expect to get. Ayam penyet is not the same with a different type of sambal. It would be nasi lemak kukus ayam with fried tempeh and tauhu without the sambal ayam penyet. The good thing is the chicken is really big and tasty. The place has potential but needs improvement (e.g., waiter-kitchen coordination, meal prep time, pricing vs...
Read moreWe chose quite a lot of food for our plate. Honestly, we didn’t even know what they were. They all just looked good and colourful so we wanted them all.
The owners were so kind and gave us this delicious dessert ‘ My bubur kacan hijau ‘ It’s pretty much a sweet mung bean soup. Yum!
I also got this pinky looking dessert called ‘ Kuih talam ‘ I was so sure it’s made of coconut milk but uh oh, no.. there’s no coconut milk at all as an ingredient. How come it’s so creamy and delicious? I also love the smell of it. It’s so fragrant almost like a fragrance but in a good way 🙂 Anyways, try it try it!
For our 2 whole big plates we got including that tasty dessert, we paid 35RM ($ 8.5) in total. I totally love the place and sure will be back if I ever have a chance to go visit Johor Bahru once more. Though, if you have a chance to go there before I go next time, please say hi to those kind owners for me!

Mee goreng daging Teppanyaki chicken with rice (no vegetables)
Ordered for takeaway. The atmosphere is uncomfortable as the main door is really loud. The service is slow, and the manager keep on scolding the unprofessional staff next to us. When we get home, the mee goreng is okay, however the teppanyaki chicken with rice (ni vegetables) have vegetables in it. Whats more, they forgot the rice.
Taste wise, its okay, but not RM40+ okay.
Really bad experience. Paid RM40+ just to get a bad service. Never dining here again, unless the...
