Chanced upon this place after looking at furniture nearby. Saw that it was quite crowded despite it being about 230pm on a Sunday and decided to give them a try.
AC was strong just that at the areas below the vent was abit too windy. But Vs the hot weather outside was still great.
Menu wise, they have way too much variety such that the menu was a thick book, it's supposed to be a HK style cha Chan ting but I would say not exactly what u get at a cha chan ting. Variety was across Chinese dishes, western food, toasts etc. they have bubble tea as well. Was skeptical that the food would be edible since they have so much variety. Had a toast and Chicken pot was better than the expected. Only thing was the chicken hotpot flame was only lighted for a short time. The food is average. The service is good, but the food is served very slowly and each dish came about 5 to 10 minutes apart. This made it so 1 of our sons got the fried egg part of his meal 1st, then about 5 minutes later our other son received his chicken dish. Then about 3 minutes later the 1st son got the fried rice and pork chop part if his meal, then another 5 minutes later he got his soup to his meal. Meanwhile, my wife and I still hadn't gotten any if our meals. After another 5 or 6 minutes, I finally got my meal and then my wife got her's another 3 or 4 minutes later. Food ordered tasted ok. I Like that little spiciness of the fried long bean and minced meat bun. Bread is too thick, hard and dry. I ended dipping the bread into the black sesame milk shake. 😂Can consider cutting 1 slice to half.
Drinks tasted good. Has a variety of choices. However drinks portion sizes are small considering the price of the drinks are a little high.
Black sesame tea was really recommended! Love the nutty taste. Barley lemongrass water with lemon should be using a larger glass. Too much lemongrass blocking. Small glass makes it difficult to eat the barley….
