三层半 Three And A Half — Restaurant in Johor

Absolutely a must visit while in Kulai, after extremely disappointing soft boiled egg experiences in Mersing and Sungai Rengit Three And A Half finally delivered and it was absolutely fantastic. On both of our visits we had two serves of the soft boiled eggs (which were perfect every single time! See the pictures). The Roti Bakar Otak with Cheese was also a favourite that received a double order each visit. Milo Ais Kosong... Perfect of course and Kopi O Kosong or Less Sugar was a great wake up.

The ambiance is cozy and homely but still bright and welcoming. Bathroom spotlessly clean and tables well spaced for privacy. The staff however make the cafe, after our first visit our order was memorised and on the next visit it was known without a word from us! Friendly, smiling and kind. Nice hidden cafe in Kulai. Recommend to order Otah Cheese Toast as it was served warm and delicious. Unlike the other toast that we have tried..

Cham (鸳鸯) is very fragrant as well - One of my top pick so far that suit my taste bud.

Generally, the food here is served with sincerity. One of the male serving us is very friendly and spent time to introduce the items on the menu for us. Shop space is a little small and less asthetic, but polite service made up for it and we feel cosy and welcomed

Chicken porridge was good. Comes with dough fritters and condiments, which was mainly sesame oil, light soy sauce, and white pepper. Tried the shitake mushroom cheese and the ham cheese chicken floss toast sandwich. Cheese was gooey which we love and not too overpowering. Would come again to try the eggs. The place is cosy. Max capacity at most would be about 20 pax cause any more would be really tight as the space is really small. Staff service is satisfactory, friendly, and patient.
