I ordered Asam Pedas Ikan Pari and Kailan Ikan Masin โ both were delicious! The Asam Pedas was thick, sour, and flavorful, not too spicy, which makes it suitable even for kids. I do wish it came with sambal belacan or some ulam-ulaman to complete the set. The price is RM28, which I find reasonable for the portion and taste.
However, the dining environment could be improved. The area felt a bit hot due to slow fans and direct sunlight hitting our table. With better ventilation or some shades, the experience would be much more comfortable.
Overall, food was satisfying, and Iโd definitely come back โ just hope the ambiance...
ย ย ย Read moreThey always ran out of ikan merah when i visited, but i decided to try the assam pedas siakap (barramundi) and kangkung belacan. The assam pedas is delicious, the spiciness is not overbearing. The gravy could use a bit more of the sourness of tamarind but it is good enough to really elevated the taste of the freshwater fish. The kangkung belacan is good too. Teh ais is too sweet for my liking. Overall I would return again.

Fried egg was very oily which I guessed it was because it was prepared in advance. The kangkong belachan was ok. We drowned the food down with 2 teh o limau ice
