I ordered Asam Pedas Ikan Pari and Kailan Ikan Masin โ€” both were delicious! The Asam Pedas was thick, sour, and flavorful, not too spicy, which makes it suitable even for kids. I do wish it came with sambal belacan or some ulam-ulaman to complete the set. The price is RM28, which I find reasonable for the portion and taste. However, the dining environment could be improved. The area felt a bit hot due to slow fans and direct sunlight hitting our table. With better ventilation or some shades, the experience would be much more comfortable. Overall, food was satisfying, and Iโ€™d definitely come back โ€” just hope the ambiance improves a bit!

They always ran out of ikan merah when i visited, but i decided to try the assam pedas siakap (barramundi) and kangkung belacan. The assam pedas is delicious, the spiciness is not overbearing. The gravy could use a bit more of the sourness of tamarind but it is good enough to really elevated the taste of the freshwater fish. The kangkung belacan is good too. Teh ais is too sweet for my liking. Overall I would return again. For Singaporean visitors, this restaurant accepts card payments.

Asam Pedas House provided a delightful culinary experience on a rainy day. The Asam Pedas Ekor was a perfect blend of spicy and sour flavors, tantalizing the taste buds with each spoonful. The Mee Soto complemented the dish superbly, offering a comforting warmth. The cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment, making it a memorable dining experience.

Ordered the whole ikan merah assam. Listed price RM$65. The asam fish had more chilli ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ taste than assam. Cpuld hardly taste the assam sourness. Could have been better. Fish was fresh though.

Fried egg was very oily which I guessed it was because it was prepared in advance. The kangkong belachan was ok. We drowned the food down with 2 teh o limau ice

For the price RM$91 for 2 persons, I do not think it was worth the visit. Had tasted...
