An unexpected Brilliant find.
The first time I had a meal in this kopitiam was at a time when my father and I arrived at Senai for work at night. Due to MCO most restaurant are closing and won't take orders at 9 pm above, but this Kopitiam accepted us even though it was 9.30 pm. (My father was starving after a long drive and meeting from KL)
We tried their Mee Goreng mamak that night and nasi goreng kampung, it tasted so good! Nice smokiness, and mixture flavor of spices. Perfect amount of beef too.
But then again I thought it was because of us being starving at first. Until I visited this Kopitiam again on another day for lunch with Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah as seen on the photo.
On first sight it's like a common Spiced fried chicken we can get even at mamak, but when I took the first bite how my first assumption was wrong.
The Curry is rich and thick, the Sambal Hijau is spicy at a nice level on the tip of my tongue, and the fried chicken had a nice soft crunch with full of flavor (unlike the oily fried chicken we had at mamak or one that I cooked).

I used to enjoy their Roti Kahwin (Butter + peanut butter + kaya), but later on it was off the menu😔😔. According to the waiter, supplier couldn't deliver the jams. 🤔 Anyhow, I went again for berbuka puasa with my colleagues, and I had ketayap. It wasn't bad at all. Juicy at the right place. 😋😋 The mee goreng mamak was just nice - not very spicy, the way I liked it. The coffee is nothing out of the ordinary. Like any other coffee out there, but consistency of the taste is always...
Read moreWe come to Le Grandeur Senai at least once every year. During our stay there we will definitely drop by at this joint.
They have every sort of cuisine from western to Orient to traditional Malay cuisine. My personal favourite is Malay cuisine such as Assam Pedas and Masak Lemak.
They have various family meals sets to choose with. You are recommended to try Mee Hor Fun as it is great.
The price range was standard for a Kopitiam like this. The premise was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable.
The only letdown here is they allow...
