Eng Hin 永興福州餅麵廠 — Restaurant in Johor

This shop is very near the tourist terminal, and may be familiar to people who always travel via organised tours. I was expecting Yong Peng specific snacks but almost the whole shop focused on Melaka branded snacks. However do note that this brand does not exist in Jonker, so either buy or ignore it. Jonker is lined with so many similar shops. Specialities are probably teochew bread, noodles. Other things are plentiful in Melaka Town. I just bought 12 packs of round moon biscuits (plus other biscuits) from this place. The round moon biscuits are made with butter. The worst I have tasted in years of buying from here in the past. Not what it used to be. RM5.30 a pack is a waste of money for bad tasting buscuits. I have been a repeat customer in the past years. Now I am not going to be a customer at all. Plus the rude service with regards to not providing extra plastic bags to pack as gifts is unacceptable...

The location on Google maps was incorrect when I followed its directions. The staff were all quite busy and did not seem interested to explain the difference between their various kompia. The taste and texture of the buns / biscuits are quite unique and nice. They probably taste much better if eaten freshly baked.
