A COVID-safe dining place, well ventilated, with tables well spaced. Cutlery and sauces kept in closed containers. My wife’s roast-duck noodle was excellent. I found the char-siu good, but a little too sweet. Side dishes available in small sizes which allowed us to order a bigger variety of dishes. I highly recommend the braised tofu—silky smooth! Home-made wonton was a little tough but delicious all the same. A convenient and worthwhile stop on the...

The service was terrible, especially the cashier. Be aware that the prices listed on their menu are often different from the actual prices. Today, I ordered char siu (barbecued pork), and the price on the menu was RM60 for half a kilogram, but they actually charged RM65. When we asked why the price was different, they simply said they forgot to update the menu. Perhaps they saw we were driving from Singapore. Also, their rice is...

We had the mixed platter consisting char siew, roast duck, roast chicken and sio bak. The char siew and the roast pork were excellent. The duck and chicken were also good though we preferred the former two meats. The wanton soup was a bit salty but the wantons really tasted home made so that was great. The noodles were awesome I preferred the you mian over the mee pok. Drinks were...

This was a random search for a place to eat in Yong Peng and it was a good choice! The roast chicken was smooth and tasty and the char siew with siew yoke was pretty good too. It was my first time seeing peanuts served with the char siew/siew yoke. We also had braised tofu and egg and a side order of blanched vegetables. They also serve both rice and plain wan tan meen. Highly recommended!
