There was a very bad dining experience today at this restaurant for the Father's Day celebration. I had done the pre- order and table booking for the Bonding set and being informed the person in charge/ captain serving this table. However, the captain guy was not appear as being busy to others .Unfortunately the waitress whom serving us talking attitude was no manners in way of concerning why client (us) only drink plain water but not order any extra drinks (The dinner set package was inclusive the Chinese Tea/ Water)
Pertaining to the food quality, it is even such a big disappointment! The cold dishes was being served, they served the wrong dishes as following Steamed Red Snapper with black garlic Fried Chili big sea prawn with bun was not served with bun ( the excuse given was kitchen did not received this order signal) Worsen sanity concern with fly found in the braised sea cucumber with broccoli. The waiter took away the dish after we highlight and no single apology or dish replacement Water and ice cube was not being top up and difficult to get waiter/ waitress' attention when we raise hand, so we need to walk to approach the waitress until it fixed our request. No one is collect the used dishes until we asked for help
As a service provider in this restaurant business, the most important earning point was not only judging by the food taste but another earning heart is to let customer feeling satisfy during have dine in experience at the restaurant
This round table experience to celebrate this special day was unforgettable and this is the worse one I seen compare to other competitors.
We always choose this restaurant when there's company event/ gathering in RSVP room. But after this it will glad to say that not recommended to choose Grand Seafood...
Read moreAt first we are impressed by how the manager serves us, aunt Lauren Yee (short hair wearing blue shirt at that time) is the manager there. whose helping serves and taking our order manually using her note. And things happen that she forgot to input our order in their system. After more than 30minutes waiting only until we call another waiter to check our food and she said we haven’t order its not reflected in the system. And surprisingly this is not only happened to our order. If you guys read on the other reviews this thing happened before. My suggestions to the restaurant is to really pay attention on this. I notice the this thing happened because the auntie didn’t utilize the tablet and using the order management system.
But honest review on the food, finally we had tasted our orders: The signature duck is the best The prawn very juicy and creamy. ❤️ The sotong okay okay only The bittergourd also okay The chili crab so so. The bun taste good tho. The fried rice also nice. We got FREE fried noodles taste so good! And also FREE dessert after all the drama.
At least they realize and admit their mistake. I appreciate this kind of action.
So lesson learn from our experience, next time when order ensure they key in the order straightaway to their tablet. Else you all will ended up wasting time for nothing as they forgot to inoit the order.

We understand that the progress of food serving may be slower at this occasion like Mother’s Day but when we made inquiry about the food serving proffer with the waiter for several times and we’re not getting any feedback from them.
