Selera Senibong Seafood, located in Johor, is a seafood restaurant known for its above-average prices, nice view, and friendly customer service. While the prices may be higher compared to some other seafood restaurants, the overall dining experience and ambiance make up for it.

One of the highlights of Selera Senibong Seafood is its picturesque view. Situated by the waterfront, the restaurant offers a pleasant and scenic atmosphere for diners. Whether you're enjoying a meal during the day or in the evening, the view adds an extra touch to the dining experience.

Another aspect that stands out at Selera Senibong Seafood is their friendly customer service. The staff members are known for their warm hospitality and attentive nature. They strive to provide a pleasant dining experience and are generally accommodating to customers' needs and requests.

It's worth noting that the otah otah at Selera Senibong Seafood is considered expensive. Otah otah is a popular local dish made from fish paste and spices, typically wrapped in a banana leaf and grilled. While the price may be higher than expected, it's important to consider the overall quality and taste of the dish before judging the cost.

In summary, Selera Senibong Seafood in Johor offers an above-average dining experience with a beautiful view and friendly customer service. Although some items on the menu, such as otah otah, may be expensive, the overall ambiance and service provided make it a worthwhile choice for seafood lovers looking for a memorable...

We went there last night (June 28th, 2017). We were lucky to get a table for 8 despite not making a prior reservation. Considering that many people are still on their Raya holiday and also the next door restaurants are still closed. We arrived there at around 9:00 pm. We finished ordering our food and drinks at around 9:20pm. The food only arrived at 11:00pm.

The food was good. The watermelon juice was too sweet (they probably sweetened it with cane sugar). But the ray dish they serve was just so good. It doesn't have this distinctive smell you get when you eat rays. The mussels we ordered were fresh but the sauce was not to my liking. The fish (seabass) dish we ordered was good too.

Generally, they should increase the level of cleanliness of that place. The were red ants on the railings near our table. Thank God no one got bitten. The busboys could have been more friendly and tactful. They were not careful enough to let my frail grandmother and I to pass through. They were too focussed to get their tasks done that they simply walked pass us. They should have given us way. One of the female servers was not friendly at all. Not smiling and she just plopped the dish on our table. I was not happy about that.

They should improve the children's play area. It's in a...

Nice place to watch sunset while enjoying delicious seafood. It overlooks the Johor Strait and you can clearly see a Singapura port. This place also offers exotic seafood like frozen Alaskan crab and fresh Nipah crab alongside common seafood. Be ready to pay premium price for Alaskan crab. Roughly about RM260 per piece. Yet the crab is big enough for 8 pax, provided it's served as soup like meals not fried meals. Since it's frozen and takes time to reach Malaysia, the taste of the Alaskan crab itself is already bland. However, the cooking recipe makes the whole meal delicious. The Nipah crab is really fresh and meaty. The flesh is still intact after being cooked. So you can bite a satisfying portion after cracking off the hard shell. Otherwise you can enjoy normal seafood at affordable price. For us, now that we've already tasted frozen Alaskan crab, next time probably we just feast on Malaysian seafood which is still fresh and sweet. The staff are friendly and can advise you the suitable cooking recipe for each seafood taht you select. For muslim, there is a nearby Masjid, about 10m...

Restaurant is located in a secluded area. Definitely need to be driving here or getting a grab. There are 3 seafood restaurants here and Selera is the outermost one facing the only road inside. Restaurant is half on land and other way on stilts in water. You can choose your table anywhere and they will bring the menu to you. Many varieties on the menu ranging from lobsters & crabs to vegetables & soup. Seafood all comes with different methods of cooking. My partner and I shared a crab(approx 600g), butter prawns and salted egg sotong. About RM100 in total. The butter prawns were probably 1 of the best we have eaten. Smallest order is about 300g of prawns. Big and fresh. The salted egg sauce wasn't that good so you can skip on it or anything that is cooked with it. The sotong was well-cooked and nice chew to it. We chose our crab to be steamed with ginger. I must say it was really good too. The ginger taste wasnt really overpowering so it was great. We will definitely return in agreement that the food is cheap and good.
