JB ZhenBao Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Johor

Ate here with a tour group. Most of the dishes we had were quite good. I especially liked the prawn with bee hoon…the bee hoon was very flavorful and tasty. The pork ribs were quite good too. The only negative was that the roast chicken was a quite dry.

Update: Came with yet another tour. This time tried different dishes. The appetizer prawn mayo with watermelon was delicious. I really enjoyed the steamed fish as well. Also the roast chicken this time was a lot better, and it came with these crispy fried bean curd skin bits that were super tasty. Finally, the chili crab was not bad also…the crab was sweet and fresh…the sauce was not that fragrant,...

Impressed by the first dish’s food presentation but restaurant aircon too strong so the fried stuff were not hot anymore…

The grilled pork with salad is really nice as they really marinated till very “够味！” but when dish was served, already cold 🥹

The prawn dish is too salty…, either over estimated or added salt twice 🤭

Obviously this restaurant is catered to tour group but they have limited toilets, time to add more while the country opens up & tourism is slowly getting back to those...

Not honest restaurant, i bring on my own seafood fish, pawn, squit for restaurant kitchen to cook, can't believe they swap my fresh seafood with them and even steal my seafood amount, been there twice same thing happen over and over again, look for waiter and feedback for this, they just remained silent and try to cover their mistake, from their face I can tell they definitely know about this, don't think customer is stupid, really disappointed, seriously never ever go for this...
