Nikmat Tandoori • Batu Pahat — Restaurant in Johor

This is second time I come here after two years and still same gangster behaviour... Last two years back i order cheese naan and they didn't give spon and then I ask bring two set spoon but they say you take your self and that time my wife newly delivered baby and she not so stable and I take my baby son so how they rude ... And today I went again and I order again same naan and I decided to find curry my self and when I enter in open kitchen side he speak with rude behaviour don't come nearby curry I keep my distance around 3 feet and they don't like to see because I see his hand and hygienic conditions and I found he didn't cut his nail and he shy and he won't let me see more because he guilty anyway being a customer I have right to report because against food I paid money I didn't come here...

I read many reviews on this restaurant. I have been wanting to give it a try since along time ago Yesterday, got the opportunity to dine in there. Ordered cheese nan (mozarella), chicken tandoori, satay. A bit disappointed with the cheese nan. Got so many good reviews but in my opinion, it's no where near other cheese nan places that we have been to. So little cheese. My daugther rated this as ok, but compared to other places, this place came the last. Tandoori chicken - well marinated. But the portion was a bit small and it is not suitable for kids because it's too hot. Probably from the chilli powder..The plus side came from the satay. Different from normal satay but it was good. Kopi O, sirap bandung laici and iced milo were ok..So please, cheese nan - put...

The best and most pleasant surprise for us who visited for the first time. We already shared a bowl of (very yummy) noodles prior to arriving at Nikmat, but still had gastronomic room to try some of its raved foods. And boy, it didn’t disappoint! Our garlic naan was aromatic and fluffy, with right amount of crisp on the outside. After a bit of a wait, the star of the table arrived: the chicken tandoori. It was well marinated a-la northern Indian/Pakistan, one could taste the well mixed spices and natural yogurt. And the chicken meat was so tender it almost fell off the bone. An unassuming restaurant along Jalan Sultanah, but these two meals that we have tried would take us back here again for...
