The Bierhaus Senibong Cove — Restaurant in Johor

We were just there for dinner (06/05/2019). Place was crowded, mixed crowd (they serve pork). Went there with 2 famished kids. Manager Anand was friendly and efficient and quickly got us a table. We placed our orders and he made sure we got our food fast, especially for the kids (pizza margherita, tandoori chicken, chicken pakoora, vegetarian fried rice, grilled mushroom and churros for dessert). We had a bottle of lovely Chilean red wine with our rather spicy food. This wasn’t pure German food for sure, the Asian/Indian dishes pack quite a punch so try to go easy on the chilli. Our helper had the pork fried rice which had liberal amounts of chili padi thrown in. She had to drown out the heat with a mug of excellent, super-cold Tiger draft. The wife is vegan and the vegetarian fried rice Anand proffered was off menu. 45 mins after we walked in, we had polished off our dinner, the kids sated. Service not good at all, they favor certain customers over the others. When we ask why they giving our reserved seat away since we were the next in line, one worker just brush us off and say you go ask inside don’t ask me and proceeded to take care of the other customers and ignore us. After that, when we finally when and find a table ourselves then ignore and did not take our orders. We had to walk to the payment counter to ask them to take our orders then only they took the order. After that, we ask them to recommend a wine that was sweet and ask for recommendations but all the worker and supervisor did not even know which wine was sweet and one even lied and say will help us check but went away and never came back. Finally one of the worker came and when we ask him to recommend a wine that is sweet he recommended a wrong wine, it was the worst wine ever. Finally the manager came and he was the only person trying to make things right and after that only apologized. Very bad experience. We reserved table but was given to other people and the waiter typically told us to go in and sort out ourself . After awhile we managed to get a table and waited for almost an hour but no one came to take the order and we have to go in to put in our order ourselves . Wanted sweet wine asked the waiter if there is any he verbalised to us there is this wine have a little bit sweetness but end up giving us the most bitter wine and telling us he knows about wine better then restaurant manager . Asked a chinese lady waitress to find out if there is any sweet wine she wasn’t sure and told us she would want to go and ask someone but end up did not came back to us to inform if there is any or not . Overall very extremely disappointed! Wanted to spend more then rm 800 but nah i rather give it to other restaurants that is not favouritism and treat their customers in a proper manner be it on a peak day...
