Warung NasiLemak C.I.Q Kg Melayu — Restaurant in Johor

We arrived at around 11.00pm and lucky for us, there was no queue. The place is cosy and simple. Apart from the nasi lemak, there was also a stall selling sengkuang calit. Customer has to fill up a form for the order and the name will be called once the order is ready. We bought the nasi lemak to go and kept it in the fridge, only had it the next day. Sambal is red but it's not fiery spicy so worry not but delicious nonetheless, has a tinge of sweetness. The rice was lemak, can taste the santan, they were not stingy with the sambal. Came with ikan bilis & kacang. There was also an option to buy extra sambal (which I like!). Only cucumber was missing but I get it, the food will go bad faster if kept too long with cucumber inside. Price is cheap! Despite the size, actually one is enough for each person and 2 is really filling!

Only complaint is the parking is a bit hard to find and the road is narrow, best would be to park at the main road and walk for a bit,...

The nasi lemak and the fried chicken are good! Sambal is nice, fried chicken is well marinated and not too dry(only chicken breast available). Only down side is the rice is a bit too wet, and they wrap the fried chicken together, so which made the crips of the fried chicken gone. I gave 3 stars for the service as there's not much of a service there except food serving. So does the atmosphere, it's a street stall, not much of an atmosphere to mention. The food preparation is slow, the base is the same, instead of each crew handles individual order, they should setup a flow of preparation to make the whole process smoother. One hour just for a normal normal nasi lemak bungkus with egg is...

Rainy night - sat down and was told to order and pay first - fine. After ordering, I paid via touch n Go and payment was successful (automated voice notified the vendor). However, she questioned whether I paid or not. Bewildered by her question, I said of course - I asked whether she purposely ignored the automated voice. She scoffed and gave a sad of excuse - I shrugged and sat down.

Food then arrived after 1 minute - Nasi lemak quantity was super small and the fried chicken was unseasoned - all for a total of RM7.

Honestly disappointed with the food quantity especially with their expensive price. Would not recommend unless...
