We did a road trip from Johor Bahru to Yong Peng on a Tuesday with the intention of trying out some Foo Chow food, but were disappointed to find that many restaurants were closed, despite Google Maps saying they are open. In the end we had a meal at YS Shaw, because this was among the few restaurants that were opened that served something that looked Foo Chow. We ordered red wine mee suah, xi dao fishballs, and otak-otak. The red wine mee suah is a bit on the sweeter side, which is not my preferred taste but my wife loved it. The fishballs were fresh, but the otak-otak was the best. Our next table ordered the fried dumplings and we could hear the crunch, so probably quite good too, though we did not try it ourselves. I would most likely try other restaurants if I ever come to Yong Peng again, but if everywhere else is closed, this restaurant is still OK.

We ordered curry noodle, fu zhou noodle, mee hon in clear soup. 4 adults and 2 kids, all enjoyed very much and cleared all our bowl. We liked the clear soup base which was simple and taste like good old taste. The curry noodle was delicious and spice just nice. There were many other local products and we bought a few to try too. Boss is quite friendly and we will dropby again if passing by in future.

first time to be here, the boss is very funny and gave us suggestion. The shop is abit old but clean, and they sell alot of titbits. Foods served fast, and all were very delicious, which was out of my expectation, especially the dry fishball noodle that really kidnapped my tastebud. Some more, it is cheap with big portion! Would happy to try out more next time.

Tried once here since the original fishball next door closed after business hour. Foods so so only. It is ridicule to learn this shop sell most of the items ever so similar to the next door, the bowl, the recent decor and also the BIG signboard. Upon enquiring, they are just a bigger version of noodle stall from hawker center where they source fishball from a generic...
